Bstylia, a youtuber with near 100k subs did a 100 day challenge on your modpack. I feel like you are finally getting the attention you deserve. I remember I thought you were underrated and had under 4k and I was like how,now you're already at 19k and you have grown a lot. I'm really happy for you.
I am pretty new to datapacks right now can anyone tell me what the difference between a data pack and a mod is? i looked it up and i dont seem to be getting an answer
Mods need a mod loader and they alter the game itself, data packs are basically “minecraft supported mods” that use commands already in Minecraft, and if you are playing Minecraft with your buddies they do not need to install the data packs, because you install it in your world, not your client

Most of the data packs are just poor versions of mods, I would’ve said poorly designed, but due to data packs limitations, this is basically the best they can do which is pretty sad. Like, don’t get me wrong, some of these ideas are actually really cool and I haven’t really seen them as a mod, however you could make 10 times better mods with close to the same effort as you would have when making that data pack.
But its probably inspirered by the TekTopia mod. But in Tektopia you can build the structures yourself and then you mark them with an item frame so the villagers will see it. However you dont have nether mobs coming to attack you, but there is a Necromancer. Its such a shame that the mod only works for 1.12.2
I'm very excited to see some cool datapack showcases! A ton of hidden gems out there :D I hope you do more showcass in the future, datapack community needs some love
