Just a heads up, the Power Rangers Lost Chronicles Hardcover isn't the one-shots, it's the OGNs, none of those stories are in the current continuity and are pretty varying in quality.

I loved Life Zero but I haven’t pulled the trigger on Vampire state building yet… I have pre-ordered DD Waid omni 2. Looking forward to it. Devils Reign I have in tpb, I liked it a lot but I am not going to buy the omni. I am looking into that Hulk tpb. Is it a good jumping on point for new readers? Solid choices! I think this Hulk TPB is for sure a solid jumping on point! It restarts Hulk with a new story with a new vibe. Highly recommend it especially if you liked immortal hulk! Thank you for watching always Ben!
The Question vol 2 omnibus is the only January book on my radar. The first Question omnibus is superb and well worth picking up if you like serious adult based storylines.
@@Illuminerdy_ Do so man you will love it. I was surprised how good it was. Pick up the sandman mystery theatre compendium vol 1 too by Matt Wagner ( he of the equally brilliant Grendel series ) as that book blew me away. Gripping, serious, bleak storylines right up my miserable road! 😉😂👍
@@Illuminerdy_ I recently read the Nailbiter compendium which was alright but nothing special. Reviews said it had a twin peaks/Seven vibe but I wouldn't agree to that. It was ok at best. Miles better was/is Postal the complete collection. ✌️
@@Illuminerdy_ Even the grass doesn't grow on my road where the sun rarely shines, and when it does it brings into detail the boarded up houses that hide disturbing secrets behind giant white crosses... The only sounds are heart wrenching wailing and deep sighs... I love it. 😂😂😂

I read Crueler than Dead in that very small manga format (forget what it’s called). It’s not bad at all, and I’m not a huge manga reader. When I do read manga, it’s usually horror or sci fi. This is decent zombie fare. If that’s your vibe, it should work for you. That said, the cheaper, small versions are probably available too. I personally don’t think the art is compelling enough to really need a larger format, but that’s a very subjective opinion.
