Word of caution: Yes, the Otterbox is bearproof but not your car. Bears have a keen sense of smell and eyesight. They have learned that ice chests have food. They have trashed the inside of cars trying to get at the cooler. Keep it covered up or if at a campsite in the bear container. Your Otterbox will be intact but you may need to rent a car to get home.

@@nbartlett6538 so i have black bears, mountain lions, wolves, and coyotes, etc in my area and we generally dont worry about this kinda stuff, most ppl in our area will chase off a bear so they tend to be frightened by humans, NOW if youre ever in grizz country DEFINITELY buy one of them bags as youll need it for sure

With the Jansport Pulley, they are demoing it wrong. Granted they are lifting a load that would not need that kind of work advantage, it should be set up so that the end of the rope being pulled should go through the block at the top, not the bottom. If you run it up through the bottom, you loose the mechanical advantage on one of the pulleys. Though again, if he had been carrying that bag, just throwing a rope over the branch and pulling the bag up would work as well.

#1 should be made of metal, #2 is just a block and tackle #3 Yeah good product (BTW I've worked with that bear) #4 I would boil that filtered water before drinking, #5 Looks better than one, but I bet the teeth are hard on ropes, #6 Interesting, #7 sure but instant is better for camping, #8 looks like well-built camping furniture, But way to heavy for Hike, Bike or motorcycle, SBTW Thanks for Putting titles with numbers all the way through the segment.

Cool stuff. I am afraid the block and tackle was a bit of an overkill for the bag lift but rigging in would drive me crazy and would it lift a deer off the ground. Tell me though... is the little ratchet type tool set up to use paracord because the knockoff I have requires a thicker rope. Long live doodads. You just can't have to many.

My thing with the Jackery explorers is how many times can you charge this & when the lithium battery does start to go can you replace it, without it costing you an arm & a leg!!! My old gas generator has been running pretty good for over 20 years ( I do have to spray carb cleaner in it to get it to start) without any major issues!!!

I just know that the batteries don't last long especially when used a lot & batteries can get expensive!!!

I am trying to get a refund on my 1000 watt jackery. It didn't work in the cold. The car charger 12v cord melted and they replaced it. Now it is going to 0% from 20 or 67 % charge just by t r ting to charge a cell phone which only uses 3% overnight. Junk !
