Lakowe lakes in Lagos and sunrise Hills in Abuja are my favourite of the 10 estates listed here. The rest have houses built to closed to each other. Looking forward to when Eko Atlantic city in Lagos and Millenium city in Abuja would be fully developed. Port Harcourt really needs to step up her game as private real estate development isn't as advanced as Abuja and Lagos despite being the heartbeat of Nigeria's second richest state as well as West Africa's hub for the oil and gas industry. Hopefully, Greater Port Harcourt city development will finally feature large scale private housing developments
Same here, so many people complained why I did not list other states, the sad truth is that only Lagos and Abuja has the most Premium neighborhood in the country and it’s not my fault… I just documented it 📸
Dear Mr. Steven, nice job! Pls is the Victoria Garden City (VGC) now obsolete? I thought it used to be one of the outstanding Residences/ Estates in Lagos back then, even though the buildings are styled differently. I know it often messed up by flood though.
This is 3:11am, and my wife just asked why I would stay awake watching what I cannot afford in the near future. I know I can afford any of these some day in the future and I am so pleased watching this video as it heals my heart.
Western media only show the bad parts of nigeria and africa. this guy is african that is why he is showing the good parts, only africans can tell their own stories.
@@ifehansson2254 you liar. Am a Nigerian, I am an average Nigerian. But I live well and I am not too rich neither too poor. Stop displaying your foolishness on public space
I'm an average Nigerian. I own a 2bedroom bungalow apartment, with a nice car. I'm just in my 30s. And I don't do illegal stuff. I do construction. So stop fooling around.
Apart from all the lovely homes and all the lovely estates, it is Steven Ndukwu’s knowledge of the subject matter that is so endearing! Steve embodies the smart and erudite Nigerian story! Naija!!! 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬 We no dey carry last !
Only Lagos and Abuja have the best estates and houses because they have the most congregation of wealthy people. I say give states the power and incentive to drive their own economy and I promise your such tasteful properties will start popping up in other cities gradually. This is because, a lot of people would like to live in other cities/states but only Lagos and Abuja offer better opportunities for success. This is also the reason why they are already congested. I love these estates and am really happy that such properties could be found in Nigeria but I wish the country is providing fair playing ground for almost every citizen. Great video Mr. Ndukwu. Keep up the good work. All the best.
this is Nigeria most of us do not know ......thanks my man..for showcasing the unparalleled beauty of Nigeria .....from number 10 the estates are stunning ......they are truly marvel to see
When your watching tv/movies and learning things about Nigeria or any community in Africa it’s so limited. I moving 🤔 Your videos are so Beautiful and Knowledgeable 💯🔥🇺🇸🙏🏾 Thank You
@@StevenNdukwu Great, informative video. I know Nigeria only from watching Nollywood movies and they don't do the country justice as they don't show this level of real estate development. Keep up the good work, bro.
I want to visit Abuja Nigeria. It’s like the Dubai of Africa. Over here we have Chocolate Cities and Baldwin Hills, the Black Beverly Hills. over there in Nigeria it looks more luxurious for a better price in US dollars.
I’m shocked Osborne Foreshore and Abacha Estates in Ikoyi didn’t make the cut! These Estates are definitely more expensive than some of the Estates you listed here.
Appreciate this young mans effort in showing the brighter side of Nigeria however would like to see more support go to the not so much fortunate. The poor you will have always. Take care of the poor. Value their worth.
Have you finished taking care of the poor, crack heads and homeless In your country? Focus on that. Remove the forest in your eye before trying to remove the speck in others. If you want to know what is being done for the poor in this country tune in to the thousands of humanitarian channels or watch videos or vloggers that cover that subject matter. This is a REAL ESTATE page and you are here busy whining about charity work and the poor.. ooh boy😅😅
Thanks for this video. For over a decade I have always wanted to see what Chevron estate looks like as it has always caught my admiration whenever I drive by. I've always imagined it to be a very reserved place. Lakowe Lakes/Golf however is quite off the hook. Beautiful could be a lesser adjective to describe such a paradise.
I like your videos. Even if I can’t afford the houses I can dream. And I watch them so I can see all the good the bad and many mistakes which I will take into consideration when I am building my dream home soon. So keep it coming. 🌹
My issue with Lakowe is the distance and terrible traffic you have to endure to get there, even Sundays don't mean a thing on that route. The traffic is just horrible. But the lifestyle of the estate is for me.
This is a great content. I want to point out 3 things, though. 1. Lakowe is unarguably Nigeria's finest estate. 2. Godab isn't even the finest estate in that neighborhood. Brains & Hammers, just 200 metres down the road, is a better designed estate. 3. Security-wise, Aso Villa is Nigeria's most protected estate. You can't be neighbours with the president and flanked by DSS and various military barracks without that robbing off. Great content, all the same.
That lakowe estate is in a class of its own 😳😍🥰🤩😍😍 looks So different from the others. That banana island somebody should just invite me 😌😌 make I go dey connect with ndi odogwu. God abeg!
I know brother you know your stuff and this website ain't for the average Joe. The site is very informative and educative for those with serious money to spend. Man, I thought I was talking to Steve only to wake up and realized that I was dreaming. Keep on enlightening us. I'm loving your drops.
Those talking about helping the poor, my suggestion to you is that the best way to help the poor is for you to be wealthy. This video should spur us all to keep working hard and hopefully we would be part of exciting projects bigger than what we've seen.
Nice video buddy. Pinnock beach estates is the best because of its individuality. If you’re going to spend that much money on a home why not make it the home you imagine Or dreamt of building, not just the one that your home is exactly the same as your neighborhood.
Very impressive - well done! I enjoyed your video.Maybe we can entice our oppressed brothers in the USA home with this standard of living.Ghana too has similar house build that is even better than here in the UK from videos I've seen.
Question, I would like to visit Nigeria and stay in one of these for 30 days and maybe purchase one. Can you provide information for both questions. Thanks
Interesting how these estates provide what the government of most countries would provide from taxes; well-maintained roads, proper space planning, security personnel, electricity, water, etc. Nigeria still has a long way to go.
Asides the distance to city area, Lakuwe is the best deal in Lagos. The idea is better than Banana, and in no time, Banana Island billionnaires will start running there. Talking about completely builtup estate in Lagos, Ikoyi is still the best. Even after decades, is still shaded and exquisite only for the power rangers.
Nicely compiled Steven. Keep up the great work of positive portrayal. Would be nice to celebrate the uniqueness more and less comparisons with the West. Hopefully someday the gap between haves and haves not will be bridged a little better and most can afford a fairly decent home.
LOVE 😍 watching this channel one day soon I will come and buy a Home for me and my husband most Beautiful Homes in the world I Already feels like iam Home tired of the United States iam Ready to come Home for Life just keep showing these Beautiful Home❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Regarding your advice on the Pinnock Beach Estate and not enforcing one style of building for one section, they probably did it that way for a reason. In most developed countries, it is done that way. The style of community you are referring to is is called “cookie cutter” homes. They are for the middle and lower class individuals. The ultra rich in most countries don’t want to have their houses looking similar to their neighbors or even anybody in their neighborhoods. Just my 2 cents.
@@tlamai9308 I was referring to what happens in most developed countries that the developer are apparently trying to mimic. In fact, no wealthy individual (above $500M income) in any developed country would even live in subdivisions, let alone have a neighbors house looking like theirs. That is a fact.
Lakowe Estate stands out in my opinion. It was awesome watching this great content. Please would love you to visit Port Harcourt as there are exciting real estate projects going on. Concerning your drone course i would be interested as well. Thanks once more.
@@StevenNdukwu good job bro. But To say the truth bro, nor of the listed estates above can be compare with Oluwanishola (Eliganza Estate located around Lekki/Epe express way, immediately after Chevron. Second Lekki free tol gate.. bro you need to show off that Estate with gigantic Arab style modern structures building. And also VGC should be on the list bro. Anyways thanks for sharing you d best.
It's amazing how the same N500k unit in one area, would cost N500m in another area. Personally, I think Nigeria's rich should give more to uplift the poor. I know it's the fault of bad govt, but the wealthy can still play a part.
Evidence clearly shows Nigeria is nowhere near that poor, eg take Pakistan, Nigeria population same as Pakistan population yet Nigeria GDP more than twice the size of Pakistan, yet jealous europeans will tell you that Nigeria which is the richer one is poorer and since your are very dumb, you will buy the dumb stuff what your masters say. And to claim india has few poorer people is the funniest joke ever.
@@mucholangs according to western media, anything to put the black man down is acceptable. My mother that's having her own little shop in the market is considered poor according to the western world, continue with the narrative but clearly that notion is the world Open lies
Is Amen estate that expensive. I've always liked the look of the estate but thought it wasn't that cheap because of it's location. I'm also surprised the estates in Ikoyi apart from Banana island did not make the cut. Nice Job Steven.
Love your properties videos, Big favour to ask, could you do one for rent? Best estates to rent in Lagos/Abuja. A lot of us move back for a year or two and are looking for something with security, 24/7 electricity etc with a certain budget..hope you see this.
I'm struggling to see how "Rich" you think Nigeria is because just a fraction of it's citizens can afford this so called luxurious estates while majority of the population languish is agonizing poverty I wonder how this is any good for the Poverty Capital of the world... Ofcourse everyone can't be millionaires and live in luxurious places as this but everyone should be entitled to a 'Decent' standard of living in the self acclaimed Giant of Africa.
I think about repatriation from the US to Nigeria. But it appears that I can't afford a "decent" home to start or transport my family there either. Ayyy and this is coming from a NYer.
You are very correct, if 80% of the citizens cannot afford to live in decent homes with electricity, clean water, police station, schools, etc they are poor and need to improve.
@@obedstiffler2210 this is a typical Nigerian mentality. How can you keep building luxurious estates that are all empty when you can build affordable homes for the masses. The fact that these houses are empty tells you that 90 percent of Nigerians cannot afford them
Banana Island estate looks like owning a house in it will be stress especially living in it. The problems of being rich and living among only rich people are not so different from those being poor and living among only poor people. When God gives me the go ahead to plan, develop, construct and maintain cities I will show examples of how wholesome environments are structured.
Please remember most Nigerians live under the poverty line and these places are for an elite who are the same people keeping the poor in grinding poverty
Nice to see our motherland been positively portrayed for a change. Thank you Steve for showing ignorant westerners that we dont' live in jungles or swing from trees. Shame that most still live in abject poverty whilst others live in these obscenely over priced properties.
Hey Steven, as eloquent and clever as you are, I think even you would find it very difficult to sell eau de stench of poverty and gutter lined ghettos.
@Joy J Isn't poverty most glaring in Asia in terms of the number of poor and the level of poverty since the land is most limited in Asia? It is just the west likes emphasising the negatives on the African continent the most and I would not think the west few poor people with all the homeless, working three jobs I would not call that richness, paying mortgage for 30 years.
So classy, beautiful and standard. The west portrait Africa as a jungle. That's why most people who visit Africa for the first are always surprised with what they perceive.🤷🏽
There is so much space. The hieght of the drone makes you think otherwise. Most of the houses have too much excess space because they are mansions not duplexes. Too much land in Nigeria. Google it❤
Thanks Steve for this job. However, let me say it clearly Nigeria leaders are the most wicked and hypocritical I have ever seen. If they are sincere and caring our cities and towns can be made as beautiful as these exclusive estates. With good urban renewal and site and services policy and continuous urban town monitoring program put in place we can turn all our settlements to a place of good living for majority of our citizens.
Good , i think you only choose top 10 based on cost and personalities in those estates also the presence of islands . However ,there are also beautiful estates in other states like Enugu , PH , Akwa ibom etc. Next time do top 50 lets see other states that features. Thanks.
Just because a tiny amount of Nigerians live in ridiculous luxury does not mean that western media is wrong for depicting Nigeria as a poor country. It still is. Also thanks for putting Amen Estate in the video. My mum worked very hard on it. And I recognize the script from our advert. Because I wrote it myself 😂
Nigeria is not a poor country and not all citizens in western countries lives in luxury. Most of their citizens lives on public support. We know one negative minded person will show up
And less than 5km from these estates look like landfill and gripped with poverty. Great video and nice houses but Nigeria is still a poor country filled with insecurity and corruption. You don't need exclusive neighbourhoods to be able to have a decent basic standard of living, roads and electricity. This is basics across developed countries hence Nigeria will continue to be where it is.
Really ? basic in developed countries indeed🤣🤣🤣. no be the same Beverly hills you go drive commot small dey encounter homeless people for tent??? Abi na Chicago south side after leaving downtown... in a place like America no be only the 1% they gbadum life and others living pay check to pay check. Gated community wey full abroad yanfun yanfun no be for added security and privacy Na? Na only to whine and complain na eem una sabi , you can never see anything in your country and appreciate it . you now want to dictate how someone will spend thier own money because there are poor neighborhoods.😅😅😅 Doesn't the so called riches country in the world have terrible ghettos and trailer parks. They should not build fine house because of that abi??...smh
