An overly long gag where he hands over those Nuggets one at a time, complete with the "Item Get!" jingle playing each time. The Japanese name for Nugget is "Gold Ball", the Japanese colloquial term for male balls. Throughout most of the Pokémon series, there has often been an old guy who gives you his "Gold Ball" and then brags about it.
Another troll moment? Ocarina of Time's running man. Game lets you think at first you can beat him easily, but nope, he always beats you by a second. And it's impossible to beat him, no tricks, gameshark codes, even Miyamoto admitted it's impossible.
@@pikakip3792 Even if you cheese the system as hard as you can (I think you can freeze the timer by exploiting using warp songs but not actually warping) and get to the lost woods with a literal clock time of zero seconds you still lose. He says something like his time is "00:0/" seconds, with a symbol instead of a number.
No Magikarp merchant from Red and Blue? I'm deeply disappointed. That was a brilliant emotional roller-coaster that even the anime felt the need to recreate it.
That's the beauty of it. The merchant finds you early on in the game when you're hungry for as many Pokemon as you can get your hands on and offers you one that you don't have to battle to add to your collection. Of course you jump at the opportunity, only to learn that it's only ability is useless. Then you get the Old Rod and learn just how common and easy to catch Magikarp actually is. However, if you commit to it and help that little flounder grow, it becomes one of the strongest monsters in the game. It's just brilliant from start to finish and the happy ending doesn't make it any less of a genius prank.
They weren't in-game trolls, per se, but Sakurai certainly had his fair share of trolling moments with the Smash Bros series: -Ridley's appearance in the Melee intro and the number of confusing hints Sakurai gave about his inclusion during both Brawl and Smash 4's development -"There’s a character named Ness who has appeared in the Smash Bros. series up until now, and Lucas is very similar." (from Lucas's Special Moves page on the Brawl DOJO) -The first Smash 4 trailer starts off like an Animal Crossing trailer -The Wii Fit Trainer trailer was presented as a trailer for "an upcoming Nintendo game" live at E3 and started off like a Wii Fit trailer -"Zero Suit Samus is not going to participate in this iteration of Smash Brothers" (Smash 4 April Direct) -Greninja's hand looking suspiciously like Mewtwo's in his reveal trailer -Rosalina's trailer starting off like a Mario Kart 8 trailer -Chrom's inclusion in the Robin and Lucina trailer Can anyone think of any more? There's ALMOST enough for a top ten here but not quite.
The 100 star present has to be my favorite, when my sister got it she was so betrayed cause we saw it whenever we got bowser, and thought it was an instal-win
My question with Hestu...had he had it for ages to give to you? Or does he make it as soon as you give the final seed? The mystery will be forever unknown
Kevin Tan Also Lana's trial... I mean, she tries to lie to you the whole way, while she's tricking you into entering her trial... Even though you were going to do her trial anyway
I think the best troll sanity effect in Eternal Darkness has to be the "You have completed the demo" screen. It got me SO bad. I thought I bought the wrong game! Or that this was a bootleg copy and I was about to experience a legit Nintendo creepypasta (I always knew Sonic.exe was real!) There are a few other great troll sanity effects in that game, like the fake boss fountain. You're surrounded by infinite shotgun ammo, but your character exists in ancient Persia or something, so shotguns haven't been invented yet.
The Look-alike items in general could be on here. How 'bout that Oren berry, eh? Or the Dropeye Seed? And the less said for the Wander Gummi, the better. There's also some positive ones...that'll try and ease your guard and have you potentially use their real-but-negative counterparts, like the Dough seed, look-alike for the Doom seed.
Man, the Resetti trolling doesn't even stop there: sometimes his (nicer) brother visits, sometimes he pretends to reset the game and erase your data (like Eternal Darkness!), and don't even think about visiting another town without saving... *shudder*
Not a Nintendo game but this part in Lego Island PC."SCRAW!SCRAW!ROOOADBLOCK!! I'M NOT GOING ANYWHERE! Try the other route,or come back later." A parrot attached to colorful trees occasionally appears out of nowhere to block the players route during the various mini-games.
If youre curious about the Hyrule map at the end, its the interactive map over at Zelda Maps! Its consistently adding locations of all items, enemies, etc.! zeldamaps.com/
one more troll moment is in super mario 3D world: when you'll save all the fairies, scene that tell you that you'll beat the level is appears, but then it's disappears and then bowser is "fairynapped" them all again.
Here’s s troll in KH Re: Chain of Memories: there’s a card for a premium room, and you think they’d make your attacks stronger, but they actually make your cards a 1-time use.
Gotta love Sleep Kirby as well. When I first played Adventure, I wanted to swallow every enemy in the game to see what I get. It was cool then... Sleep. :P
Pretty sure the biggest troll ever made in a Nintendo game is the Blue Shell, and Lightning only because these 2 items will make you go from 1st to 8th in less than a second, and it always appears on the last lap of every single race
Aw... you didn't mention how Resetti actually tells you he's going to delete all your data and then he makes the game do a fake reset to scare you. That stuff actually got me good when it happened to me.
I’m pretty sure the Torizo wasn’t made by the Chorizo, rather it was a trap made for Samus by the Space Pirates. As for the Cho-X, it’s probably a Torizo hosting an X parasite.
The biggest troll here is you, TheJWittz. I'm trying to stay away from everything Breat of the Wild related until I have the time to play it myself. You didn't even put a SPOILER ALERT or anything... Also don't anyone tell me that "what he said isn't a spoiler" because to me who knows squat about the game that counts as a spoiler :/
Sorry, but unlike you I'm not clairvoyant and could not foresee the content of the video :/ Also there's a huge difference between spoiling older games and games released literally a month ago. Sure, what's considered an "old game" is a debate in itself, but I'm sure most people can agree that 1 month is not considered an old game. Also consider that those who want to play BotW on the Nintendo Switch have not had much of a chance to do so yet due to consoles being sold out everywhere. "But just get it on the Wii U!" Don't tell me what to do.
So,just because you didn't want to see anything about Breath of the Wild, you wrote a long two comments paragraph about that. You know that you could have closed the video the second that he said "Breath of the Wild",right?. You cannot tell him what he can and cannot upload to his channel, because it's his not yours.
HiddenForbidden2 I would have stopped the video at 9:52. Because that's when Jwittz mentions the game name without spoiling the plot. And don't tell me, 'Oh, it's spoiling me of Hetsu's Gift!" because there is no way you can tell what that is by the name.
Not a Nintendo game, but in Sonic Generations, near the end of Classic Sonic's Crisis City stage the goal post gets carried away by the giant flaming tornado in the background and you have to chase the goal post to actually finish the level.
The Pokemon roar glitch with Entei and Raikou(gen 3 I think). Both of them know the move roar and if they used it to end the battle they would glitch themselves out of existence
Watch, someone's gonna figure out that Hebtu's gift allows you to accomplish a task no one thought you could do, and almost break the game.... Like maybe it allows you to lengthen the durability on the weapons so they don't break as easily. Like upgrading from a Stone Pick in Minecraft to a Diamond Pick. If only....
Anyone remember the woman in Snowpoint city, offering a Haunter for a Medicham in Pokémon Diamond Pearl and Platinum? That godforsaken freak gave it an Everstone!
What about a different Pokemon troll? One in Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, to be specific. In Snowpoint City, there's an NPC that offers to trade you a haunter in exchange for a medicham. At first, you think "Awesome! I get to use a gengar without having to trade with someone else!" But then... tragedy strikes. It turns out that the haunter was carrying an everstone! If that's not a Nintendo troll, then I don't know what is.
Remember that trailer of super smash bros when Charizard and Mario were fighting but they got interrupted? And everybody thought it was mewtwo but it was Greninja lol
I know this isn't Nintendo, but Battle Cats DID have a 3ds port, so I have to say this one; All the cats that claim they do "Massive Damage". Not just Archer Cat, but wheel cat too. WHY PONOS WHY
