How come there is only the first movements, unless it's supposed to be a showcase of only the sonata form.

There is a purpose in selecting works. The parts about Adagio and Coda will be covered in other uploads.

for example... the Eb, listen to Yudina o Horowitz or Richter I think has one as well of this or BACKHAUS even.. FORTE THEN PIANO not the same dynamic twice.

Jando, although technically breathtaking, overplays many beautiful details - no chance to rejoice those romantic 4 measure Haydn loves to include in his development sections...

In the first sonata the pianist completely ignores Haydns' dynamic markings making it a bland and mundane thing.

@@christianwouters6764That’s Brendel. I’ve always found him boring no matter what he plays, he kills all the dynamics. Even his celebrated “Schubert” has no excitement in it.

I, for one, fully disagree with you. And that’s okay.

I wonder if the Dynamic and expression Marks are original by Haydn or by a later editor. In that case, every pianist is free to have his own interpretation of course. They are certainly very detailed which raises suspicion.

Most disgusting pianist ever. He plays like a pig.
