1. Landorus-T 2. Landorus-Therian 3. Landorus Beast Form 4. The flying saber tooth tiger 5. The one with intimidate 6. The ground type flyer without sheer force 7. The one that has dominated OU for over 5 years now 8. Smogons favourite pokemon that will never get suspected even if it had 100% usage 9. The one that made Garchomp its bitch 10. T-wave + Scarf Rock Slide in doubles
Download doesn't just raise attack. And it doesn't do it every turn. It raises your Attack OR Special Attack depending on which of your opponents defenses are lower
I'm a bit annoyed at the lack of explanation of why Zekrom is number 2 other than you saying it has great stats (which every mon on this list has lol) but I still enjoyed the video. Never knew Genesect could learn things like Ice Beam and Flamethrower :0
It's also worth mentioning that it also has a signature move with 120 base power and 100 accuracy that can be one of 5 different types, depending on the kind of drive it's holding. The coverage that this thing boasts something to really feast your eyes on if you're looking for versatility.
1 thing i dont really get when reshiram has the same stats (except physical and special stats switched around) but can take care of its lack of speed with flame charge unlike zekrom and kyurem yet its put lower than those guys
mywlan2 You're absolutely right!I mean I can think of a couple of reasons why Zekrom might have an edge above Reshiram (an example being that Reshiram is weak to Rock and therefore weak to Stealth Rocks etc.) But that being said,Zekrom can be crippled by Will-O-Wisp as a physical attacker while Reshiram can't even be burned. Though we shouldn't come up with reasons but rather Mandals should have explained it better.
Where da fuq is Victini? Have you seen the stats? It's 100 across the board! It also gets acess to V-Create, the most powerful non Z-Move non self destructing move in the game, Reshiram's and Zekrom's signature moves (Blue Flame, Fusion Flare, Fusion Bolt and Bolt Strike) and a pretty great mobepool overall.
umm actually Download only activates when the user is sent out (not every turn following) and will raise either attack or special attack depending on the foe's lowest current defensive stat.
Wait, is this list for Gen 5 or overall? I can't think how Terrakion is better than Keldeo. Keldeo can damage physical defense with it's signature move. While it has less coverage options, that just shows that how amazing Keldeo really is. Especially when it's under rain spamming those Hydropumps or punishes you with Scald burns. I am more surprised Kyurem-Black is so high considering how underwhelming it is outside of Gen 5 (where Keldeo and Terrakion are better mons) and Gen 8.
Keldeo is pretty boring as a Pokémon. His move pool is so bad. Most run only a few things, calm mind, scald, secret sword. Eh. There are better water types.
I will never forget the day when i tried out gts and some asian dude traded me the shiny japan exclusive genesect for a dialga, thank you so much random asian dude
Would like to touch base on Number 9. Lando-I is actually used for Special/Mixed attacking compared to Lando-T, which likes to hit physically. Lando-I abuses Sheer Force with Life Orb, which wasn't mentioned and goes well with moves like Earth Power.
You are indeed correct with the Sheer Force/Life Orb combo which got it banned to Ubers because it was so powerful. Sludge Wave + Earth Power + Rock Slide makes it a huge offensive threat and should have been moved up since it is an amazing mon that deserves the credit
Kyurem's design is suppose to be like that since each form lacks the other dragon and (correct me if I'm wrong; I haven't played any generation 5 games) was forced to take that form, it looks like someone tried to make the Original Dragon but ended with a Frankenstein dragon.
Zekrom is better than Reshiram? This is news to me because I’ve always heard that it was the other way around in Gen 5. The rationale for this was because Reshiram can take advantage of its special movepool better than Zekrom can take advantage of its physical movepool. Also, you can boost Reshiram under the sun, while the rain doesn’t really do anything for Zekrom.
@@Snowball-qr6xx it doesn't need thunder because his signature powers is equal in power with thunder but thunder us special move while zekrom is more physchical attacker with 150 so is signature lighting moves would do more but 130 base special attack for zekrom is good too so thunder if it's running a special attack, but I think reshiram is better just base on special attack if they face each other but zekrom is better facing other pokemon
But which one stayed in Ubers, and which one has never seen Ubers again? But if looking at just Gen 5, yes, Thundurus was considered more viable, but only by a bit. And Lando T is above both of them in Gen 5 ubers Viability.
Acsilverfish360 I believe that you are wrong about lando-t. While he may have the better stats, you have to consider that lando-i gets sheer force as a hidden ability. This basicly means a free life orb boost, which you can combine with a scraf or a life orb. For these reasons. I think Landorus Incarnate is better than it's Therian Form. Also, while this does not matter anything, lando-t wasn't Uber, only OU (and it stayed there since)
Extra Thicc That is as a matter of fact true. I'm not saying Lando-T is completly useless, fuck no it isn't. However, I did some Research and damage cauculations and have come to the conclusion that Lando-I surpasses Lando-T in raw power
Lando regular you basically never run physical. Almost always a calm mind set with earth power, sludge wave, etc. Lando therian is a lot better with double dance (swords dance and rock polish) and stone edge / rock slide and earthquake Overall, when looking at the physical side of it, like how you viewed regular Lando, Lando therian is a lot, lot better. even if you are talking about Lando therians speed stat, you see scarf a LOT. :3 Also, in tiers such as OU, and Ubers, which is where you see the kyurem fusions, you see Black an insane amount. I feel as if he should have been higher up on the list. Kyurem-White you never see. Never. I tested this on Pokemonshowdown. I played 37 games of OU and 23 of Ubers, and in total I saw 31 kyurem blacks between the 2 tiers, and 2 kyurem whites. I understand that kyurem-blacks move pool is very limited but it is a much more useful sweeper in its tier. thanks!
I can understand Genesect being at number 1, that boi is too strong in singles. But what I can't understand is Landorus-T not being anywhere in the list. Not only is he the "mascot" of Smogon's Singles format because he can be run on so many ways, fitting on pretty much every archetype but stall, but all of them can be run very effectively too, and he was also a staple in most VGC teams where he was allowed, his typing is godly (only way it could be even better it's if he was given the fairy typing) his stats are a blessing, his ability is one of the best for singles and doubles, which far outclasses Lando-I one trick pony sets tbh. As much as I hate Landorus-T, he's probably the only Legendary that ever comes close to the versatility of Groudon, Xerneas, Arceus and Yveltal
YA BOI Brett The kawaii Kirby Master I mean, Power Herb Geomancy cleaner, Z-Geomancy set up sweeper, Bulky Specs, Choice Scarf, Aromatherapy support. Xerneas has amazing bulk, type and move pool, how is she not versatile when she's on most Uber and VGC16 teams?
Looking at Thunderus being number 4 makes me really sad. I had Pokemon White and I encountered Thunderus once by accident. Once I failed to capture him I soon realized to track his movements i had to track the weather to see if heavy rainstorms occurred. I found him twice after that. I never caught him.
LuxrayGaming i know it is but its not really viable there same account for genesect and zekrom and reshiram onl Kyurem-W is a bit Uber viable but its not that good.
Not to be the stick in the mud or anything, but aren't there 13 legendaries in gen 5 (15 if you count "the Kyurems" as separate legends)? May as well do a "legendaries of gen 5, ranked" instead...
If you have a good moveset on it, Cobalion can be op. I remember doing a random gen 6 battle on pokemon showdown I was getting destroyed until I only had 2 members left (Diggersby and Cobalion). The Diggersby took out 3 pokemon with one swords dance, focus sash and earthquake. They then used a 1st priority move to kill Diggersby. I sent out Cobalion, set up 3 swords dances and then did iron head for flinching and stab. I then got accused of hacking.
Pokemon games would be so much better without overpowered legendary pokemon. Everyone you battle will just have a team full of legendary pokemon instead of having character and choosing ones they like
Yeah..... technically, thunder us is the worst of the genies, especially without therian, and while it and tornados both use prankster to their advantage, tornados has a better attack stat and bulk up. Also landorus and landorus therian are the best of them.
BAHAHAHA You’re claiming that regular landorous is better? Therian Landorous is able to spam stealth rock, earthquake, and rock slide/stone edge with its better speed and monstrous attack stat. Just ask the half of the current meta who use it.
Landorus Incarnate is actually a better Special Attacker than Physical thanks to the Sheer Force, Life Orb combo. Honestly my attempts to use Zekrom in Ubers all seem to go really badly. Yes he is very unique, but that kind of doesn't make him better than Reshiram.
Ye zekrom is pure shit in Ubers but this guys a noob so what does he know. Even Verlisify knows more abou... Ok that goes to far verlisify is actual shit i didnt mean that.
