there was an episode where Spongebob kept winning the claw machine and Squidward couldn't so he kept having this thing where everyday life was interfering because he wanted to win that claw machine so when he picks up everyday objects he imagines it as the game so he keeps missing and lets go of it. He couldn't pick up the remote because of that so he uses his eye lol. I hope that made a little bit of sense.
