Mario Lopez, Garret Thomas, Gazo ( you see the look on P&T's faces when that Mellon came out ? ) , David Roth. Wes Barker,The Shin Lim of Sponge balls... man, there's too many
Triumph, laser deal, the collector, everywhere and nowhere... any thing where the card shoots out of the deck... people always are impressed with that. And of course the Ambitious card. How did I miss that ?
When getting into magic Kimlats triumph floored me. Once I was in the know I got a copy of the DVDs and practiced the crap out of the RR cull. It is my favorite sleight bar none and has lots of applications. My current favorite is doing an Out of This World memorizing demonstration where I have the spectator ‘memorize the deck’ (while culling) and then they sort it into reds and blacks. It’s amazing There is something to be said for magic tricks that are amazing as a lay person, and then even more stunning and impressive in the know. That’s definitely my favorite and why Kimlat’s is number 1 easily
I was waiting for Sheer Luck to come up on your list!! Just bought this from you last week-- fantastic!!!! Also going to buy a couple more on this list. I LOVE these lists. The time flies by. Thank you! Would love to see top 10 tricks for college students as well as top 10 tricks for kids and top 10 tricks for teens. (I previously suggested a three way comparison of Tarantula 2, Spider Pen Pro and Gravity).
On Triump and Penn getting mad : he's probably mad because of what you said but also (I know this, because he said it on a podcast) : They did this trick before on a morning show and Kostiy knew that and it was kind like " I will show them how it works". basically that
I really loved David Parr's Copycat! It is a Do As I Do that floored me! I purchased the trick and love the simplicity of it! It's one that a beginner can perform but is also a magician fooler. 😲
The original Unshuffled more or less requires the ability to do a Faro shuffle. Your review did not discuss whether the Unshuffled Kicker requires a Faro.
Both are great routines for sure! Unfortunately F.A.C.T. didn't fool them. While we love Shin Lim both 52 Shades and the Dream Act differ enough from the performances on Fool Us that it would have been difficult to talk about without going into detail on all of Shin Lim's tangential products that he offers in order to perform these routines.
@@penguinmagicshop but in the product description of 52 shades v3 its mentioned that .... "In 2017, Shin Lim appeared for the second time on Penn & Teller: Fool Us. Only a select few magicians have fooled Penn and Teller, but Shin managed to fool them a second time, with 52 Shades of Red" Is this not the same trick from the "Fool Us" Show?
You learn how to do most of the elements that Shin Lim uses, and you learn the method that he used to fool Penn and Teller but to actually perform the routine you need to buy a lot of extra materials, and a few other products. You then need to do quite a bit of arts and crafts.
@@penguinmagicshop got it... Thanks for explaination❤ Actually I am trying to get info of some more available products that fooled Penn &Teller, apart from those that you discussed about in the top 10... Can you help me in that?
This list and ranking was 100% created by our Instagram followers. We ask for suggestions and have voting every week on Instagram. The only criteria outside of the week's theme is that it has to be tricks that we sell, and they have to be in stock.
It's a game show, and falls under the laws which govern game shows. Contestants receive an actual prize with a cash value (a trip to Las Vegas and a performance in front of Penn and Teller's audience). US game show law prevents them from being misleading, or "cheating". None of the tricks are accomplished using video editing but occasionally an act is shortened for television, and the discussion between Penn, Teller, and the magician in question is shortened.
As far as a benchmark goes, some of the best acts in magic have appeared on the show. Shin Lim for instance was a FISM winner two times over, as well as an America's Got Talent winner two times over. He has appeared on the show, along with many other great acts. Not sure anyone is calling it the benchmark, but it is a television program that includes some quality magic.
I am not sure iif you guys have done it. A top ten tricks list for halloween season or in that realm. I have two or 3 tricks in mind but i would like to see what others think.
We're all performing magicians that care about magic. Nick, Erik, and Josh all are gigging magicians who care deeply about magic and it's history. Not sure what you mean about "joke reviews", that doesn't sound like something we'd post.
I don't understand why you are critical of people who take a routine and then do it a different way (i.e. the Banded discussion). Magicians doing routines exactly the way it was explained IS a problem in magic. If you don't make a routine your own, then you are just a "cover band" the rest of your life.
All the links can be found in the description. Most of these tricks require special apparatus that you can purchase from our website. For a couple of the tricks you don't need anything special but they are kept behind a paywall to prevent the idly curious from discovering their methods.
