Mine would have included The First Noel, O Come O Come Emmanuel, Carol of the Bells, and Silent Night instead of a few of yours, but I love your choices too.
I have a lot of different opinions on this list. But my big issue is that Hallelujah, this version, isn’t a Christmas song. It’s more of a love song. “She tied you to the kitchen chair, she broke your throne and cut you hair, from your lips she drew a hallelujah.” Come on. That’s not a Christmas song. The Christmas version talks about Jesus. What Christmas is really about. Jesus birthday. It’s the celebration of Jesus birth. It’s purposely after the Jewish holiday.
