also, singing and speaking use different parts of the brain, that's a major reason why he doesn't stutter while singing. and he has amazing control either way.
There’s a British rapper named Scroobius Pip, who has talked a lot about his stutter and how much music has helped him with it. I think it was on Joe Rogan’s show that he got really in depth with it.

Jesus. I’m a professionally trained musician (vocalist) and when I heard that first singer (the young guy) -I’m kinda jaded after many years in music so it’s nearly impossible for me to be emotionally affected by anyone’s performance!) within a few seconds I just emotionally collapsed into tears of pure joy. I reacted that way because his soul literally reached out & touched MY soul. And that phenomenal occurrence is such a rare thing; it’s the feature of a true vocal musician. Because without that emotional connection, Music is just math (e.g. how many beats per measure- time signature, counting out how many beats for each kind of note. I feel drained. Someone is going to sign this kid & I have no doubt that we’ll see him win at least one Grammy.
The turn-arounds for Seal and Ricky on hearing the deep, buttery and mature-sounding "musical theatre" voice of Harrison and seeing...a boy...standing there are priceless.
The face Ricky makes when he turns and sees him... it looks like he fell in love right away... LOL.. :P He does have a beautiful voice and man those eyes! gorgeous.
What I love about this type of video is that, in many of them, one can tell that the singers don't speak the language that the songs are written in but the emotion comes across anyway. It's the very best expression of the power of music.
Im swedish myself but i always really enjoy watching the voice holland’s videos. Not only are there many talanted people, i for some reason love the jury, such an inviting and cool vibe! Big up Holland!!
She can hit really good notes and sounds very fluent but they are short bursts and she doesn't seem like she could sustain them. Although I could be wrong, breathing control seems like her weak link.
Actually that is a Dolly Parton song. Elvis wanted to record it. She was so excited about it until Elvis's manager told her she would have to sign the rights to the song over to Elvis. She said no because she had already had a number 1 hit on the country chart with the song. That decision made her tons of money when Whitney recorded it.
It’s hard not to cry when the first boy was singing. Amazing performance, he is so handsome with beautiful soul. Audience were amused, his brother was crying. Just feel so blessed after listening 🙃👼🥰💗
For me, the first one was so emotional. But also the one that the judged didn’t turn around for - the guy who sang and played the clarinet (6:45). Amazing sound from both instruments.
