You can compare the Top 10 piston engine helicopters altitude performance in one video. All performance according factory specification under ISA condition. Producer: Arthur Gemperle South Africa 2019 Music: Standard RU-vid licence
You have my name... Also, where is the butt of the Cabri 32 (Yes, helicopters have a butt, it is called an Exhaust Pipe, where it passes gas exhaust.) I know it has got to be somewhere; Feeding is fueling up, the gas tank is basically a stomach and when we use the toilet, it is similar to helicopters letting off exhaust. Is the Cabri 32 "Constipated" and can't let off exhaust, or is it hidden? Is it electric? Imagine eating something; where does the food go when it is no longer needed? (Seriously, where is the tail-pipe, above or below? I see something on the top of the tail, and stuff below it, but can't see it close enough to know...) 🚁
Lovely snippets...clearly one cannot underestimate these piston engines for their capacity, versatility and longevity in the wake of latest technology. Thanks for sharing with us Arthur !!
Great comparison of available helicopters in this category Arthur. All these choices weren't available when I purchased my Rotorway, and after watching your video, it confirms we made the right choice. You've proven the experimental category allows for great improvements with these helicopters. You're an asset to the Rotorway community Arthur. Keep up the great work.
Thanks for watching. Please check my video, Top 10 improvements on my RW ru-vid.comvideos You also can email me, arthurgemperle1@gmail.com for further information
No not Rotorway, but all the owners together made many good improvements. One of the best one is my reliable turbo upgrade from the insufficient and not reliable supercharger. Go to my RU-vid channel: ru-vid.comvideos Look for my video, Top 10 improvements on my Rotorway, then you know what I am talking about
Thanks for watching. There are to many helicopters to compare, so my limit was 1000kg maximum take off weight. The Enstrom aswell the Robinson R44 are above my weight limits
Looking at these cool low-priced helicopters, I see it being used for TV News helicopters. I'm talking the low-cost-but-high-quality alternative to the expensive Bell JetRanger and Eurocopter AS350. Both of which are used for TV News helicopters. The Bell JetRanger costs $1.2 million to buy, and the Eurocopter AS350 cost $2.4 million to purchase. Plus, and you’ve got to consider additional costs of daily maintenance. Plus, I can picture those following choppers bearing a TV station logo: Rotorway A600, Cabri G2, Skyrider SKY, CH 77 Ranabot Turbo and the Robinson R22.There are a few US TV stations that have used the Schweitzer 300 helicopter. One of them being NBC affiliate WAFF 48 in Huntsville, AL - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Q_J2j96d6kU.html
Good question, the piston engine and the fuel is almost under the mast, and the tail is very light. On the Rotorway Helikopter you have to add a 10kg weight in front of the passenger skid if you fly solo. If you fly with 2 person, the weight will be fitted just behind the engine to compensate for being heavy in the front. You can see the weight in the video if you watch carefully 😉
Thanks for watching. You will find all those answers under Google search. However my Rotorway can fly higher than 20 000ft. Please watch in my RU-vid channel: High altidude flight and world record landing with a small piston engine helicopter. ru-vid.comvideos
Hi Sidney, thanks for watching. The Enstrom 280FX is a awesome helicopter but the max take off weight is 2600lbs. On my selection of the 10 top helicopters are only helicopters below 2200lbs. If I would have gone higher with the take off weight, there would be many more helicopters available
Missed Kompress Charlie, Cicare 7B, Cicare 8, Two place Mosquito, Mosquito XEL, Mini 500, Hummingbird, Dragon Fly 334, Dynali H2S, Enstrom Fama Kiss 209 best buy for the money...........but not a piston engine
Most Rotorway owners spend more time talking about their trailers and working on their helicopters than actually flying them. Trailers ? ........seriously ?
@@savagecub I know about it, I am a member of Rotorway owners club. All helicopters need a lots of maintenance due to their complexity. Rotorway is no exception because it is home built. Look at my videos and see how capable my helicopter is. ru-vid.comvideos enjoy
Thanks for watching, my weight limit for small helicopters are below 2200 pound or 1000kg maximum takeoff weight otherwise they are to many helicopters to show
Thanks for watching There is no need to sell your house because there are many used good Rotorway helicopter for sale for as little as $ 20 000 till $30 000
Thanks for watching Yes I know the Bell 47 is a good helicopter but above my weight limit off total take off weight 1000kg or 2200 pounds otherwise there are to many helicopters to display
My video display I have a maximum takeoff weight limit of 2200lbs or 1000kg (light helicopter) otherwise there are to many helicopters to show in one video. The cicare is over that limit
