Left Lincoln as a young teen with my parents. I miss it so much. When visiting my family said it reminds them of America ( the Midwest ) and I can see it. Not Lincoln city itself but the county as a whole. It’s the most beautiful county in the UK and isn’t even recognised by most the uk. Which I prefer, I wouldn’t want it ruined by Londoners buying it all up. One day I hope to retire here.
Went last year for a week, fantastic place to visit .But beware that steep hill , really is a STEEP hill, seems to go on forever i was well out of puff. Catch the tour bus outside the Cathedral instead , think it was tenner for three days . you can get right down to the harbour , then get back a few hours later .it stops at all the places too , well worth it saves the old legs too.😂
Coningsby and Tattersall Castle are not within Lincoln. But if you were including locations outside of Lincoln, ie in Lincolnshire, then i'd argue that Skegness should be included as our most popular seaside town, and Belton House
Tattershall and Coningsby are a good few miles outside Lincoln. Nevertheless, this is still a good video. Don't forget to try some local delicacies, such as plumbread and cheese, Lincolnshire sausages, haslet, and Bateman's beer. There are many excellent pubs in Lincoln.
