Your map shows the road to Manly. Much more pleasant, and the way we'd recommend to tourists, is the ferry. That includes crossing the Heads. Then a short walk through to the beach. Plenty of places to eat. For our money, Manly is a much more enjoyable trip for tourists, with the ferry ride and views into many of the Harbour bays that tourists would otherwise miss.
Yes well said! I actually took the fast ferry to Manly from Circular Quay and the views were fantastic. Unfortunately I couldn't find a way to show the ferry journey on Google Maps.
@@nathsway Thanks for your reply . Sorry, I can't give any clues about the technical problem. Perhaps the ultimate designer did not think of travelling by boat.
If you did, there are two popular options: 1. South to Wollongong and Kiama 2. North to Hunter Valley and Newcastle Both are accessible with Sydney Train. You want to stop on several places along the coast though for some amazing national parks.
