I had a holiday in Turkey, I went to Istanbul, it was great. You can be completely comfortable with security. People are very good. I took a break for 3 weeks. I will go to Antalya next summer. As a tourist who has visited 20 countries, Turkey is always number one for me.

I've never been to Turkey, but your videos always make every place look so cool. I knew about the Roman ruins but never knew there were some great medieval castles there. The green landscape near the Black Sea was a surprise too. The world is full of surprises!

@@ninetynine6915 yep. Turkey is only country have 2 cities in top 15 the most visited cities with istanbul and antalya. But there are so many beautifull cities than istanbul and antalya. Alacatı, Side Ayvalık, Çesme, bodrum, marmaris, fethiye, kaş, kalkan, Uludağ and beautifull Alps of blacksea region like Artvin-Karagöl or Trabzon Uzungöl.

Thanks for the video I think you should definitely see Mount Nemrut. It is a unique cultural heritage not only for our country but for the whole world. Not indifferent to Mount Nemrut by UNESCO, it has been included in the list of world cultural heritage. In other words, the statue of Nemrut, which is described as the eighth wonder of the world, is the most important reason for adding it to this list. There is an inscription next to the statue. There are also mausoleums along with the inscriptions. What distinguishes this mountain from other mountains and makes this place special is the Tumulus and statues of the King of Commagene. You should also see Tortum Waterfall. It is known as the largest waterfall in Asia and Europe and the third largest waterfall in the world.

I never see "Nemrut Crater Lake" in any top-10 or top-20 lists. It could quite possibly be the most jaw-dropping spot in all of Turkey. Not to be confused with Mount Nemrut (that has giant head statues) hough. They are similar in names but quite different in reality. The crater lake is really unique in that while going there you got almost a bird's eye view of the biggest lake in the country, lake Van, on your right side, and on your left side, on top of the mountain, the Nemrut Crater lake. Check it out. That place is legendary.

I have spent 9 weeks in Turkey, doing over 10.000 Km with my motorcycle and, after my calculations, I need at least another 2 months in order to visit all the interesting places in this phenomenal country! Already planning a tour to Mardin, Midyat and Ararat mountain and returning by the Black Sea coast!

In addition Balıklıgöl Göbeklitepe (the oldest temple in the human history with 12 thousand years old) Myra Ancient City Pergamon Ancient City Ephesus Ancient City Mardin (A city has lots of homes which was built by same stone) Virgin Mary's Home (So closer the Ephesus Ancient City) Limanağzı Koyu (You can swim with Mediterrenian Seals 😃) Olympus Ancient Theatre (the most preserved ancient theatre ever) St.Pierre Church (The First Church in the world.) @@RyanShirley I’m from Ankara too :) (Ankara is the capital city of Turkey) If you come back to visit one day, you should definitely stop by Ankara one day. Don’t forget to visit the east of Turkey. There are also many beautiful and historical places there, but they weren’t included in the video you took. At the same time, there are places like Göbeklitepe in the Central Anatolian region of Turkey. (Göbeklitepe is one of the places where people started to live)

Thank you Ryan! A great list which proves that Turkey is more than Istanbul and Antalya. The only major miss (excluding minor ones that I can recommend if only you would be interested) in the list is Mount Nemrut that hosts many statues representing its rich ancient history.
