Sorry to come off as a hater, but the quality of the video is not up to par imo. Just showing multi FX modules in random settings is not sound design. Most of the ways in which these FX were shown here are unusable. Good content demands time and attention, which demands that sounds be used in context to truly display the potential of these plugins or at the bare minimum, sound more than random sequences of glitches for the most part Just loading a random sound and putting an FX on it with random presets feels lacking in effort to me at least. It just shows random glitches, not usable crazy sound design that you have to really dial in to actually use in tracks.
A/B testing the plugins in a proper track where the plugin was used, to show what would be lacking if sounds were not processed through the plugins would be a significantly better way to showcase such a thing. Just my two cents, because in the end I wasn't amazed by any plugin demo since it sounded like garbled mess to me (despite me having used several plugins like portal, thermal, infiltrator, DS Tantra etc.)
@@CryptiCEntertainment What are you talking about? If this is the way you look at sound design, you are looking at it the wrong way. One of the biggest things i picked up from some of the top producers who are known for their insane sound design, it's that they separate their sound design sessions from producing music. They go and mess around with these type of effect plugins on synths or samples and create unique sounds that they resample for later use when they actually go produce music. My favorite technique that i learnt is they press record and mess around with effects like these in realtime and end up with 10minute audio files of crazy sounds that seem like they would not be usable. They then drag those in whenver they are working on music and find parts that they can use in their song and mix them in a little. I've watched so many masterclasses and talked to many producers personally and pretty much majority of them separate their music production from their sound design, then they would use what fits in their song, otherwise they would never come up with such sounds.
