Tip for number 10, Swampert can learn surf, earthquake, and rock slide so 3 total horde-kill moves. Covers just about all of the bases. Wide lens for rock slide 90% accuracy.
My main team is: - Pickup Munchlax with Pay Day, Covet (to steal items), Eartquake and Rock Slide (to deal with hordes). - Poison Heal Breloom with False Swipe and Spore (for catching), Substitute (with the healing from poison heal you are immune to conditions and can take any hit) and Drain Punch. - Frisk Dusknoir with Thief (to steal items), Substitute (for when I have to thief an entire horde), Eartquake and Rock Slide (to deal with hordes). - Dragonite for HMs, it usually has Strength, Cut and Rock Smash, and the 4th one cycles between Dive, Whirlpool, Defog, etc. - Smeargle with Dig, Teleport, Sweet Scent and Thief (in case I need a backup). - Damp Golduck with Soak, Waterfall, Rock Climb and Flash. (Golduck is the only Damp pokemon that also learns Soak) Other useful pokemon I have: - Mold Breaker modest Rampardos with Surf, Earthquake and Rock Slide for exp training in Mount Silver (even at max sp att. and min att., its attack is still higher). - Illuminate Watchog for increasing encounter rate. - Contrary Spinda with Skill Swap for catching Alphas. - Magma Armor Magcargo for hatching eggs. - Ursaring with Earthquake, Rock Slide, Hyper Voice and Sweet Scent for when I need to EV train 5 pokemon at the same time. - Gym rerun team: Cottonee, Torkoal, Typhlosion x2, Blastoise x2. - Trainer rerun team: Cloyster and Excadrill. - Morimoto and Cynthia rerun team: Gliscor, Chandelure, Conkeldurr + Cottonee and Torkoal from gym rerun team and a lvl2 Pikachu to sacrifice.
Another note on the honourable mention, if you already have a Pokémon with Magma Armor over Flame Body (like a Slugma/Magcargo for example) You can use that instead. It has the exact same effect out of battle, and can save you a few Pokéyen buying something with Flame Body.
Could you make a video specifically about HM buddies but like how they can also be significant parts of the main team usually BEFORE the champion? Like, how i can span the HMs across all team members. Charizard can know 3 normal, preferable moves and ALSO learn Strength. In the same context- Pidgeot can have Moves like Twister, Roost, or whatever u like paired with FLY? Those are some i just came up with. I would like it if you could go into detail and make a vid regarding this. Sorry if the comment is too long. (There's probably a video already made about this but im just lazy and dumb ykwim)
how are smeargle getting v-create? isnt victini the only pokemon to learn that move naturally? is there some obscure way to battle victini in this game that i didnt know about?
i wanna add something that seems useless but could help for ppl struggling with money early game and somewhat late game. since you can rebattle normal trainers you can rack up like 20k with no boost easily IF you rebattle every trainer you already fought that is half way through a region. idk how much one would get from boost but it would help for an early struggle and somewhat late game struggles for cash
Nothing is required, there are many different methods. I personally run double blastoise but there are more efficient teams only running one or none at all.
