Hey i forgot to mention the crafted solar LMG from this season is craftable! Either way fixed odds is still goated.

It really pisses me off that gamers in general only use the meta or whatever content creators say is good. Making builds out of unpopular guns is fun, try it some time.

I love word of crota. I use zaoulis for solar, word for void, and posterity for arc. Better devils for strand and bold endings for stasis. All have a great place in different builds. I’m a hand cannon guy. There are better guns I know but I just enjoy these the most.

Night Watch was my first favorite weapon in the game and what really got me to invest and play more - now I have like 1300 hours and still keep it in my vault. I would try for an absolute 5/5 god roll but don’t feel like grinding Gambit and spending 3x engrams a pop on each try

Nightwatch is power crept by patron of lost causes. It not only has an origin trait, you can get rapid hit explosive payload or rapid hit kinetic tremors on the same weapon if you get double perks.

I like regular sidearms, but have not been able to justify using them at all once the rocket sidearms came out.

One of my favorite underrated weapons is Huckleberry, it's amazing, it has Pre-Nerf Rampage, infinite ammo as long as you can find things to kill, and it's being buffed soon too!

I just got an adept word of crota with destabilizing rounds, sword logic, dragonfly, repulsor brace. And my god I love it.

It's hard to call a lot of these weapons "slept on", unless you mean that rocket sidearms have basically invalidated every primary in the game.

If anybody was interested in the Ros Arago IV and Heliocentric QSC (which are both great weapons, I'd just change the Ros god roll from Rewind or Repulsor to Subsistence/Onslaught. The synergy is insane), as he said in the video, running the daily lost sector gives you the chance at a drop, what he doesn't say is that if you do an Expert Lost Sector and get Platinum, then you can get double perks in each column. My first Ros Arago has got Rewind or Subsistence (so its good for add clear or champion stunning) so I've got the best of both worlds.

Been using MultiMach in Pve ever since I got a decent role this rotation of IB. Gun feels great and does pretty good damage. Highly recommend

I agree! I've only been playing D2 for 9 months now, and I find it strange that out of so many great weapons, only new or meta weapons are used amongst the majority of the community. I was an avid Riptide user, but when the chill clip nerf happened, I got a fireteam together and got me four Deliverances to craft my chill clip roll. I just need one more to craft my demo+chill clip roll. Great video, fellow Gardian. 🍻

Perfect pitch is the only gun i dont use out of this! Since lever action scoutrifles got a buff a while back you should try timeworn wayfarer with heal clip and incandescent, i still dont see it being used that much

My favorite solar machine gun is the avalanche (dawning weapon). I run auto loading + incandescent, and it’s a wonderful ad clear weapon. The new world loot handcannon Maahes HC4 is one of my favorite hand cannons. It’s void, and I use a pretty good feeling general use roll of rapid hit and frenzy. The double fire hand cannons feel great in pve.

I mean, with Unforgiven, Funnelweb and Recluse are easier to get and can do anything Unforgiven does, maybe better. Hell, The Title has the Classy Contender origin perk, you just need to be around for the Guardian Games and you'll get a billion quick

Word of Crota on Prismatic Hunter is nasty. You can replace Destabilizing Rounds for another damage perk like Sword Logic and throw on Facet of Bravery to get the Volatile Rounds. Then all you need to do is use a grapple melee to proc both Volatile Rounds and Sword Logic

Night watch is sooo good in GM’s especially when I use the one I kept with drop mag 😄

I kept an old Night Watch with drop mag that I still have to this day. It also has rapid hit and explosive payload. It’s the fastest reloading scout rifle I have. Hung Jury and Taraxippos may be better now but I’ve always considered Night Watch as the ol’ reliable.

Last season was insane with solar however I got super sick of only seeing Polaris lance or sunshot but no reason to run anything else. This season I feel like there is a little more variety but still most builds consist of a rocket sidearm and a rocket launcher

Im glad you made a video for 9/10 weapons, that great. Night watch as your first choice.... alright i guess. I would have gone with hung jury since its also so easy to get and has drastically better rolls. Calis mini is better than perfect pitch, its not bad, but i think its a 7/10 vs 9/10. Before some asks "what better than calis since its a 9?" And i would have to say (for PVE) Osteo striga w/ necrotics is a 10/10. Funnel web / recluse and gyrfalcons is also a 10/10 imo and what makes them a 10 is the synergies. Im fully aware on how solar works. Im also aware you need at least 3 kills in a group of 4 or more for an ignition which is more that "just shoot" with osteo or dodge/shoot with funnel (yeah, i know prismatic requires a kill w/ ability to go invis, i use melee to proc radiant as well as volatile rounds, same difference, use ability, then shoot) Thats my logic on grading. Simple and effective. The more work, the lesser the grade. Not sure if im lazy or min/maxing. Lol

Fixed Odds is nice and I still need 2 red borders for it but the new vex lmg can go up to 300 mag with envious. Its my new go-to

The saint14 scout patron of lost cause I believe is farmable this season with similar roles to night watch and a very strong origin trait! But night watch is still a favorite of mine as well.

Khvostov is a beast in pve. That shoot to loot is a game changer.

I use most of these, esp Bad Juju. Consider also, the Bodeica sidearm, from Gunsmith. Best range and aim assist in the game. Also, Subjunctive Arc smg. Awesome perk pool and melts in pvp.

I make fun builds like Renewal with buried bloodline Caliban's hand Cadmus ridge Gifted conviction with buried bloodline Briarbinds Prismatic swamers

I wish bad juju would work with necrotic grips, I would use it more often

I’ll admit I def use meta-popular weapons but I also use whatever I want, and make my own builds. People take a crap all over deterministic chaos but I have a lot of fun with it, especially since it got a buff a while back

i wato love ros arrago, i have this exact perk combo but it feels weak. dont know why, i mean its ok on red bars but there are other weapons that can do the same damage and perfom better on harder champions. Still will hope for a good buff soon

I love my bad juju with unbreakable bear/armamentarium class item. Super is up all the time. The great thing is both of these are getting buffed next season/echo.

What makes a weapon good is their synergy with your build. A "bad" weapon can slay if it works with your build. Chad, meta only rules in Destiny because they are boring and unimaginative.

Every solar weapon that comes out: "The God roll is Heal clip + Incan!!!!!" Like seriously, not everything needs to be the exact same as the other 10 weapons in your vault. I always look for what unique thing that specific weapon can do, not if it can do the same thing as everything else.

Aurvandil FR4 is better than deliverance, it gets reconstruction Chillclip allowing for 9 chill clip bursts

Bro I kinda hate this premise like. The whole point of tbe artifact was to change the meta. We had 1k on sword week but that was only a week. A lot of youtubers still make fun builds. It's also annoying to make builds due to how the build system in this game works. But it's a nonexistant problem. If bungie only cared about powerful we woulnd't have salvations grip on the game

NICE. I’ve been using these Destiny down times to enjoy old exotic weapons that I never used before.

I've never used the meta based on it being meta, there are weapons I've loved using which have subsequently become the meta (then got nerfed...thanks youtubers!!) But I'll always play with the guns I enjoy the feel of and find the most fun to use else id simply rather not play if it isn't fun

Both midnight coup and blast furnace with the right roles are top tier when it comes to kinetics. Midnight blows fatebringer out of the water with one for all, same goes for blast furnace both are extremely farmable.

I like unforgiven but the mag is to unforgiving. 30 isn't enough and the reload is so slow

Gonna be honest a decent amount of my friends do that with perks i dont use guns based on perks a chunk of the time i do it based on looks and sometimes perks i prefer a reload perk and a damage perk or something else like that i know some people are doing double dmg perks or stuff like that im still going by the d1 classic perk system workings get a reload perk and a dmg perk and you have a god roll gun

I use a gun called Laser Painter. Strand linear fusion rifle with clown cartridge and vorpal. It does good work on bosses 👍
