I love your videos. What about Packing Medication? Can we bring a weekly holder or the actual bottles? We have a lot of medication

That's an excellent question. Technically you're supposed to have them in the prescription bottle so that they can be clearly identified as to what the pills are. To be honest, if I was traveling within the US I would have no concerns with having them in a 7-Day weekly container because if there's any question they could always call the pharmacy easily or your physician. But if I was traveling overseas like to punta Cana I would only bring them in the official prescription bottle. I'm glad that you enjoy our videos and we appreciate you watching. For the hotels you have stayed in, are they giant resorts or smaller resorts? We have a problem walking long distances and need a smaller resort that has beach front rooms. Where do you suggest?

All three of the majestic resorts are about the same size and very walkable. All three of them, the colonial, the Elegance and The mirage have rooms very close to the beach. And most rooms are very close to the pool. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching!!

If you're hotel arranges transfers who do they usually use? And isn't more money than a thirtier $40? I'm coming with grandsons in my husband so they'll be 4 of us.

Only know about the 3 Majestic Resorts. They do have their own company that can arrange transfers, but they are more expensive than a private transfer. We have used a private company in the past that we set up through Viator called Diamond Transport and were happy with them. Thanks for watching and for leaving a question.

Are there any cultural differences between the DR and the US/Canada that we should know about so we don't make a faux pas?

Great question! No not really but in the DR everyone greats each other as they pass with a smile, and it would be good to know hello, thank you, good morning, good afternoon, and good evening in Spanish. The staff really appreciate that! Thanks for watching and hope you have a great trip!

Good question! Can only address those questions for the Majestic's 3 resorts (Colonial/Elegance/Mirage). They have gift shops on site, vendor also on certain nights set up stalls on the resorts, and there is a gift shop area not associated with the resorts a short walk from their front gate. Plus, venders walk along the beach but are not too pushy which is nice and will haggle with you over the price. There is one casino at the Majestic resort that is shared by all 3 properties. There is also a disco for late night adult fun at the Majestic which is again shared with all 3 properties. Thanks for watching and for asking a question!
