আমার বয়স এখন প্রায় ৫৩বছর.৫বছর বয়স থেকে মানে ১৯৭২ সাল থেকে এই গান শুনছি.কখনো পুরোনো হয়ে গেছে বলে ভাবতেই পারিনা.পুজোর সময় এইসব গানের রেকর্ড বাজতো পাড়ায় পাড়ায় মাইকে.তখন ঘরে ঘরে সাউন্ড সিস্টেম ছিলো না.মাইকে শুনতেই শুনতেই গান হিট করে যেতো.এখনো পুজোতে এই গান না শুনলে পুজো বলেই মনে হয় না.২০২১সালের দূর্গা পুজোতোও প্যান্ডেলে এই গান শোনা গেছে.সত্যি অমর সৃষ্টি করে গেছেন এই সব গানের শিল্পী,লেখক,সুরকার.আশা,আরডি মানেই হিট হবেই গান.এতটাই জোরালো ছিলো এই জুটি.প্রনাম জানাই এনাদের.

All of these songs has been connected with me for years,in Kolkata many things has changed but in Durga puja,the Pandal songs always meant Burman countdowns...Not only in Durga puja but all the puja occasions.Its like that our pujas are always incomplete without these songs...
listening to these songs while sitting with friends in kolkata durga pujo pandel has a different feelings ...love of life ..one of many reasons why love this city so much and do not want to leave ...people may call me "kupomonduk" in bengali , but would love to get this name but still smile and stay in kol and enjoy these songs , pujo , art and work for a change :)
