I was born and raised catholic. But was never a person who cared about religion. Mostly because I couldn't understand the Bible and anytime I asked questions the answer I always got was: Just believe it. So for a long time, I did soul searching, and religion hopping, but never found my answers. So life happened and it made me believe strongly that God didn't exist. I was depressed, praying for help, and nothing. So the Boston Marathon happens… and I ask myself: what kind of religion tells people to do this? So I am a curious cat. I started reading, reading, and reading. Only to find out that religion doesn't teach that at all. This religion is peaceful, beautiful, family oriented and as I read more and more I started to find answers to questions I had my whole life. The reason why I mention the Boston Marathon is that believe it or not I read so much on different religions but never read anything about Islam. And when that horrible day happened I just couldn't wrap my head around something like that. So I had to go investigate on my own. Took me a bit, but I read a lot and made the best decision in my life! By the way, it was later found that the Boston Marathon Attack was carried out by two Russian-American non-muslims. A real story of a woman who reverted to Islam.

assalamu alaikum. aramaic christians do pray like that even do ruku (bow) too. because if you separate all prayer verses one of them says i think it was prophet Joshua a.s that he bow between his knee not on the ground thats where they got ruku from. and sujud (prostrating/bowing on the ground with forehead) well recorded different prophets did that according to their bible

I used to watch young don before he became this anti-islam christian. The issue with him is that because he grew up christian, he automatically chose christianity as his faith without really looking into other religions and at the same time he heavily rejected every other religion (without looking into them). Therefor once he was challenged by muslims, he became super hostile towards islam still without knowing the religion. Since he had no knowledge of islam, he did research in order to find things to prove islam is wrong and by doing so, he probably only watched anti-islam videos and read anti-islamic articles which is the issue. You have to look for the truth, which requires complete unbias and an open mind. Instead of researching about islam and then make a conclusion, he makes the conclusion from the start that islam is wrong and then wants to prove it. Its the other way around.

Hi Sir Deen, genuinely love your show, I may belong to a different, but I'm truly blessed to see people like you, who is putting a lot of effort to promote harmony among your own, and people belonging to different faith. Having a chance to see such content from any place helps us to give us our thought. Thank you. Its true that most Christian don't pray in the way Jesus, but I have seen people do it, some were hypocrites, some were not. Humility is more about trusting the Lord. (if one makes and argument : they would also say, the people who killed Jesus, the Pharisee and Sadducee also kneeled down and prayed) but Christianity does preach more about being like Christ, but will only come from knowing Christ and understanding that the Lord's love for us. I don't think and average Christian would be able to respond to question that requires a lot of intellectual depth. Like Father, Son, God. (The bible talks about being created in the image of God so in that sense, we are one)

So who should we believe? Those who knew, met, and witness his miracles or those who NEVER met him nor ate/drank with him telling us he’s “god” or “son of god”? Seriously, those people need to study the Bible carefully and thoroughly about what Jesus himself said because their eternal salvation depends on it. Jesus prayed to and worshiped Allah only yet they refused and want to pray and worship Allah’s creation (Jesus) instead of the Creator who is Allah. If they continue to reject the true teachings of Prophet Jesus, then Jesus himself has already warned them on what he will do/say to those who claimed to worship him on the Day of Judgment when he and everyone else are in front of Allah Almighty. Matthew 7:22-23 22 “Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!” Subhan’Allah! Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction. Even the word Hallelujah is the same as Alhamdullilah since both words are praising Allah in his actual name yet they don’t even realize it. May Allah guide them and continue to guide us. All such literature was produced nearly 300 years after the death of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). It was not based on any written record or documentation but on stories carried verbally through the centuries. The true nature of the Hadith is that it is an inconsistent mess of authentic vs unauthentic sayings (does it hold to the Qur'an?), yet nobody can challenge the sanctity of the Hadith as it forms the basis of modern Islam. Where as in fact, the final authority in Islam should be the Qur'an. Anything in the Hadith literature which is consistent with the Qur'an may be considered as reliable and anything which goes against the basic concepts of the Qur'an is surely untrue and unreliable. Muhammad was the last messenger of God and his companions were true believes in Allah, in Allah's Prophet, and in His message which is contained in the Qur'an. Anything which goes against the Quranic teachings and which reflects upon the character of Muhammad and his companions is false and forged. Therefore, all that is inconsistent with the Qur'an, in Hadith literature and in Islamic history, is falsely attributed to the Rasool and his companions and is unreliable and fabrication. It is abundantly clear that the conspiracy of the non-Arabs (Persians and others) against the Arab Muslims of that age which aimed at taking the latter away from the Qur'an, was most cleverly accomplished, i.e. through Hadith; all of the division of religions stems from the sources explicitly stated in the Qur'an itself, in fact the Qur'an warns against splitting into different religious sects and following scholars. Modern Islam heavily relies on their Hadith to justify their sayings, teachings, and religion yet the Qur'an itself is taken as a thing forgotten, sure they might memorize the Qur'an, but what they really focus on is the Hadith and Sunnah. The fact of the matter is that there was no collection of Ahadis present during the time of Muhamad: nor was It compiled during the Callphate of first four Caliphs. Such collections were rather strongly resisted at that time. There are several Even during the Caliphate of Bani Umaya no such thing ever existed. These collections made their first appearance during the Abbasid Callphate. Six such collections are considered to be authentic by the Sunnis: and it 18 noteworthy that, like Shia collections of Ahadis, all the six were composed by the Persians. Just imagine that these Ahadis are said to be the utterances of the Rasool~ but none of those who collected them was an Arab: they were all Persians. There was no written record of what was collected. The collections were made 250 years after the death of the Rasool ~ depending on what was verbally related by the people all round. According to Im'am Bokhari's own statement, he collected 600,000 Ahadis, and based on his personal judgment he selected only 2.762 out of six lacs., as true ones, and rejected the rest as unreliable. These 2,762 are now given the status of the Quran, rather more than that, these are said to be In a position to repeal the Quranic injunctions. The vicious concept of gaining knowledge direct from God, by people other than the messengers of God, and sources of Waht other than the Quran after the last message of Allah was revealed to Muhammad ~ not only resulted In changing the basic concepts of Islam by means of forged Hadith. but even worse than that It transformed DEEN into RELIGION. DEEN or the way of life prescribed by the divine guidance can only be established in a free state run by the believers and such guidance is contained only in the Quran, in the form of fundamental principles, permanent values and injunctions. If there is no free state, no Deen can be established. In religion. which is supposed to be a personal relationship between man and God, and which Is a medley of dogmatic creeds, no results can be produced in the practical field. In the observance of such creeds. a man remains under the impression that he is subservient to God while in fact he Is not. According to the holy Quran, inheritance of power on the earth is the prerequisite of Deen. Thus it is said in Surah 24:55, "Allah has promised to those amongst you who believe and work deeds that promote the development of their potentialities and the formation of a balanced society, that he will, of surety, grant them in the land, inheritance of power, as he granted It to those before them: so that lie may establish for them the Deen which He has chosen for them. and that He will change their state after the fear In which they lived, to one of security and peace: they will be subservient to My law alone and not associate any other law with It. If any do disbelieve after this, they break My prescribed pattern." The holy Quran describes the pattern for the world, necessary for the development of human potentialities, nafts, and for the nourishment of the Self, as well has human society. In the words of the holy Quran, the object of sending the last Messenger of God, Muhammad, on the earth was Surah 7:157, "He releases them (the humanity) of their burdens and of the yokes that are upon them". The burdens and shackles that we are supposed to be released from are the forces of tyranny and exploitations which have been described by the Quran in the story of Moses (Surah 40:24). These forces appear in varied forms but come under the main headings: (1) the tyranny of kingship, or dictatorship, or one man's rule. (2) The tyranny of Priesthood. (3) The tranny of Capitalism. In the entire history of mankind the humanity has been heard shirking under the weight of kingship, priesthood, and capitalism. The Deen or Social Order prescribed in the Holy Quran and put into practice by the Prophet Muhammad was the real counter-force which could defend humanity against the forces of tranny and exploitation and which could provide a pattern by means of which the human potentialities were free to develop and which could pave the way for the smooth future evolution of man. The Qur'an is a direct concern of every Muslim and it requires no intermediaries or priests to express or explain the Divine message. The Muslims are required to use their own intellect, learn the Qur'an by themselves and take direct guidance from it. But unfortunately very few people make efforts in this direction. They do not use the Qur'an as a source of law and guidance, they rather use it for purposes of taking oath or use it as Tawiz. For guidance in the matters of Deen, they approach the Mulla. The Mulla when consulted for any particular issue pertaining to Deen, quotes the authority of some Imam or some so-called learned man and seldom quotes the authority of the Qur'an; thus taking the Imam as his lord in derogation of Allah. His reason in doing so is that the Imam supposedly can understand the Qur'an better than other people. The Qur'an is not use only as a book of highest reverence but not a book which could be used as a source of law, as was intended when it was revealed to Muhammad. Most people misuse their use of intellect that God gave us and as thus have become like cattle, rather worse than that. The Qur'an says that such people have minds wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not and ears where-with they hear not. Such people, it is said, are heedless of warning. Surah 11:1 "This (the Qur'an) is a code of life whose laws are based on Permanent Values, further explained in-detail-from One Who is Wise and Well-acquainted with all things." The Divine message sent to humanity, through His successive messengers by Allah, has been the same in essence, through it was in accordance with the needs of the time and the standard of mental equipment of men in the respective ages. The final code of life was brought by Muhammad. As the message was meant to be conveyed to all the future generations of mankind. ALlah took upon Himself the safety, as well as the clarification of the message. To each their own, but God asks us to use our Reason. We must all do our own due diligence and seek the Truth.
