Hi :) Thank you for this video, it's very informative! I'm also waiting for my exchange program application decision (I've been nominated by my school to go to QM), would you say that judging by London's current situation it's almost impossible to go for the Autumn semester this year (I know it's so hard to predict UWU). Also I would really like to know what the go-to QM forum is for students to review classes and discuss school stuffs (I can't find much info on Reddit) Thank you! And I LOVE your hair!
Hello Calleigh! Glad the video was helpful :) So for your classes in Autumn, I think it's extremely difficult to predict what is going to happen. Cambridge university just released a statement saying that they're doing remote classes until Fall 2021, so other universities might change to remote learning too. On the other hand, the situation changes fast so we could potentially see people going back to class soon. I'd say most likely, your first semester will be done virtually. For QM chats, check out student room, it's a forum website and very popular amongst London students.
it's actually a pretty significant spot in East London's history. it's a jewish cemetery for people who were killed in the war. also all the graves are the same height to represent how we are all equal in death. i am happy out of respect to the dead the campus was built around the cemetery and it did not hide it or anything. East London has a rich history and Queen Mary is a part of it. :)
@@HaHaLooLoo yesss thank you for stating this! People are so quick to judge it but it’s honestly not that bad to walk past. Plus, with context you respect why it’s there.
I am waiting for my master's application decision (hopefully I get an offer), would like to get more about finances and budget. I know students based on lifestyle will have a different budget but a look into the average budget will be insightful. I have watched several of your videos wish you all the best in your studies.
Good luck on your master's application!! I'd say average budget for accommodation around QM is 170-230 a week. For other costs such as food/travel/leisure, your budget might vary from 500-1000 a month depending on how much you want to spend. I'd say 500/month is pretty achievable though! Thank you so much :)
@Nikhil Jatale hey did u get into Big Data science for masters. If yes, can you tell me how it is in terms of employability and academic standards. It will be very helpful as I'm applying there as well.
Glad it was helpful! The teaching really depends on department to department...I personally had a fair share of bad teachers, but also experienced amazing teachers too! It really goes from case to case :)
Hii.. I hold a conditional offer for law at Queen Mary but I'm afraid I might not be able to meet the required grades. Do you think they will still let me in? It would be great if you could pls see my comment and reply because I'm really freaking out. You're the only person ik who have been there. Thank youu❤
Hey clouds, Thanks for your informative video. Actually I am moving to london in september to start my master in AI at QMU. I know that There is a 2 year chance after graduation to get a job but I am very concerned about my daily expenses while looking for a job. I want to do anything from the very first day of arriving at london, to accelerate the process of finding a job after graduation :) do you have any suggestion or video that might be helpful?
@@nikhiljatale hey I am going to London in sept for MSc Investment and finance..It would be great if could get connected and find out more about the university
Hey Mercury how was your stay and the program at QMUL? I am currently applying for the same masters that u did, what advice can you give me? If we could get in touch I would very much appreciate it
@@laurareyes6288 Hey bud, I am also going to QMUL for Masters in Big Data Science upcoming Sept 2021. Can we get in touch for sharing the details. Thanks
Hi, i have offer from QM, Glasgow, Birmingham, Exeter, bath and strathclyde for Msc marketing. But I dont know which university should i go to, will please help
hey i was wondering if you get in contact with medical students a lot? If so, when do you see them and do you think they're a bit isolated at their whitechapel campus? Im a prospective student so thats why im wondering x :)
Hey, I have an offer from QM for international Business, but I’ve heard mixed opinions about QM’s business department. What’s ur opinion on the subject? I’m sooo torn:(
Thank you so much Zhu for such an honest review! I was admitted to QMUL for September 2020 for MSc Marketing, however, I've gotten it deferred to January 2021. I was wondering are there any disadvantages of starting in January? Looking fwd to hear from you xx
Is it hard to get an offer if I meet the entry requirements or slightly miss a grade but with a n amazing personal statement n cv for business management? Are they lenient?
Hello Nusrat! I think if you have strong points you can leverage outside of your grades (like your personal statement and extra curricular), I think QM can be very lenient. I have seen multiple cases where they accept students who did not match the required grade.
