Fun fact: the guy who invented Toyota wanted to help his mum who had hard time doing house chores. So he simply invented a machine to make it easier for her to do the housework. It was a sewing machine or sth like that.Sometimes helping your parents can get you success
Have you ever wonder how big VW group is, AUDI DUCATI BENTLEY BUGATTI LAMBORGHINI MAN PORSCHE SCANIA SEAT SKODA TRATON and VW Commercial Vehicles + Financial services WOW
Soup boys Yes! TOYOTA LEXUS HINO DAIHATSU SCION and.. Subaru (stakeholder of 40%) and a little bit of.. BMW (6-8% shares) Toyota just earn its name and its fame!! Thank to legendary Japanese pursuit of perfection!! In 2018 AD profit of Toyota was about 20 bln $ to only 2 bln $ of VW. Also Toyota has it own banking division not only financial services. I love Toyota Bank :)
@@thedailylife6974 VW Group had 2018 a revenue of 278 Billion USD and produced 11.06 mio. Cars. Toyota had 2018 a revenue of 272 billion USD and produced 10.6 mio. Cars so technically the VW Group is bigger. (VW has many more Employees about 650.000 and Toyota about 370.000) But I love both Groups because on is the giant of the Asian market and the other the giant of the European Market.👍
@@Knockaswagga okie dokie im going for Mazda 3 as my first car in when I turn 18 Also that the Japanese Brands they are always reliable compare to American , European , Korean , and British car brands
You've got to hand it to the Japanese. They took a product improved it and ran away with it. Not only cars. How about Photography,Computers,Home electronics etc. etc. A truly success story for Japan and its people.
How about photography and computers? Cameras are struggling against smartphones in sales and no Japanese brand in the top 5 best-selling computer brands. This isn’t the 80s anymore. Japan has been overtaken by US, Chinese, and Korean companies years ago.
I am a proud TOYOTA car owner and I am always delighted to own TOYOTA car. Toyota vehicles are built to out last their owner and are known for their quality durability ruggednes and low ownership cost
In Kenya, from its introduction all the way to the late 90's, the Volkswagen Beetle was popularly known as 'Kobe' which is the Swahili word for 'tortoise'.
Yea this list is crap, market cap and profitability are loosely related at best. "Richest" should be incorporating some measure of financial performance laid out against the revenues of the largest companies, while factoring in large liabilities (like the VW emissions scandal). This is just a sloppily cobbled list.
Toyota is far outstanding it has been found that there is a Toyota sale happening in every minute in the world more especially on the Corolla Range The only product that can be Compared with Toyota is Coca-Cola and just not another vehicle I love Toyota
3 out of 4 cars in my household is a Toyota. One of it is a Camry which helped my 1st and 2nd children graduate college. It's on it's way to my 3rd child. Super reliable.
Toyota need to start making nice cars again on it's brand. I know it owns lot of other brands too but we need a new supra, celica and mr2 with good turbo engines. Toyota and Yamaha makes god engines like 2jz together. And i mean god not good.
PRIUS and LEXUS are the best in fuel consumption. But nowadays BYD is getting bigger in electronic car. Next generation is electronic car such as PHV and PHEV
@@davidjackson2524 About 15 years ago, Renault started to purchase up to 43 % of Nissan shares and saved it from bankruptcy. With Mercedes-Benz, they created the Renault-Nissan group. Opel /Vauxhall was entirely bought by PSA (Peugeot) last year. At the same time, Mitsubishi was running into trouble when sales plummeted and was purchased by the Renault-Nissan group making the largest alliance.
My Favourite List of Cars are: 1) Ferrari 2) Lamborgini 3) Rolls Rogue 4) BMW 5) Bugatti Chiron 6) Chevrolet Camaro 7) Jaguar 8) Mitsubishi 9) Nissan 10) Toyota 11) Suzuki 12) Mercedes 13) Hyundai 14) Ford
Toyota = Quality. Always! I love Toyota and Japanese spirit of perfection. I like Tesla but it was a very silly movement to cease partnership with Japanese Panasonic Corporation :(
Good one! I will work for Tesla and Toyota making sure all Toyota hybrid and electric cars run more than 1,000,000 miles mileage. At least Volvo is not on the list because they make cars as reliable running more than 1,000,000 miles mileage.
I do not know where you have got your figures from but Daimler, Tesla and BMW should not be on that list and be replaced by PSA (Peugeot-Citroen-Opel) and also Suzuki. VAG is the top one. Nissan is owned by Renault at 43 % and should read Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi is now resached first place.
I'm very proud being toyota technician for five yrs...and now bmw technician for five yrs also....but my heart and loyalty is in toyota due to truthfulness of durability of their cars....as technician knows every sickness of the cars....toyota is far better than all other brands that intentionally developed tobe less durable to achieve more profit in aftersales service income to their delearship service center and parts sales...
In Algeria 🇩🇿 our cars are from this company 30% vw group 20% Peugeot group 20% Renault group 15% Toyota group 10% Daimler ag and bmw group 5% others I ve never seen a Honda
Why do you mention Tesla so much they run out of money all the time 🤔 especially comparing it to Toyota when Tesla is not even close to any of the manufacturers mention. I am surprised they weren't at least 10 place, I didn't know Tesla was so "rich"
