Guys, I'm from SA & I've gotta tell you that we use Rands(R) as our currency. Rands aren't strong as compared to US dollars, so in Rands these musicians have a lot of money than in dollars.

This narrator is messing up your stats. The exchange rate between Rands and Dollars is currently at R18 for $1. So DJ Tira with his meagre $2 Million is actually worth R36.7 Million which is way above average in SA inflation and he can be classified as wealthy. He is also separating assets and actual bank account net worth. Pay attention to the differentiation between Dollars and Rands and you will not be confused.
