Except it's not at all what literally happened. Hitler actually expanded ownership of guns in Germany from 1938. There were no big gun control operations in either the Soviet Union or Maoist China. At least in the case of China, gun ownership was never a big thing in China, which we must remember was a very poor, rural based population of peasants for the vast majority of the people who lived there, in much much harsher poverty conditions than today. The idea that the PLA went around door by door snatching guns from every Chinese person in order to cement their rule is not borne from any form of actual reality, same goes for Stalin and Hitler

HOWEVER, I'm seriously concerned about *free speech being stripped away by starting in the private sector.* I prefer ALL speech be allowable in places like RU-vid. I can always *leave* an offensive video or podcast. Apple removed Jones' podcasts because they want to create a "safe environment" (safe space). What the heck is that? In the 'old days' (circa 2008-2016), many of us simply left a video, channel, page, or tweet...and never felt unsafe or threatened. Then Trump was elected and many people started screaming for others' heads, so to speak...because they disagree or are disappointed in something. The coddling of America's youth will only be a slippery slope into censorship and control. It's creepy.
