Explorer ii polar all day !! totally agree.. i own a datejust 41 fluted + jubilee and explorer 2 polar but i would suggest for the 1st purchase below 10k someone to go for the explorer, having more sportier character .. datejust is my favorite looking watch -along with the day-date-, a must have in a collection, but with not so much for sportier looks .
It would help if you mentioned the reference numbers for the watch you're holding (or it can be displayed briefly on the screen when you hold it up for the camera for the first time) so that we know exactly what watch were looking at. For example, at 2:20 you mention "this is the newer version..." I doubt that's a 226570 which is the current newest version and which you can't find for under $12.5K. If I had to bet, I would bet it's the previous generation 216570 which is not the newest model. If it is, that's a bit misleading by saying it's the newest version.
4 years ago that Explorer 2 went for $4500. It’s amazing how these guys manipulated the market. Just like what happened to sneakers 20 years ago. Shame.
@@Jag-qv1vo How would you know how much I could have picked it up for? I ended up buying a 39mm Explorer instead for $4400 and was going to buy the Explorer 2 polar face for a $100 more but ended up buying a Breguet XX Transatlantique for $4700 full set. Both Rolex were watch only and bought from a reputable source that does advertise on Chrono. The one I bought was serviced by Rolex and checks out. Before the pandemic and before all these investors got into watches you could buy many of the Rolex very cheap on the secondary market(especially Milgauss, Yacht Masters, OP’s and DJ’s) DateJust(36)under 4K from the late 90’s. I’ve been collecting collecting watches for 35 years. You must be new to this.
A modern explorer 2 for under 5k sounds as outrageous as the price of the current green dial daytona. Only difference being one is real, doing it for 35 years eh? Must be a glitch in the memory lane
Great video of Rolex under 10k. Love the Explorer II with Black dial. Also, love the New Rolex Submariner NO Date. Have you guys in mind for my next purchase. Greeting from Venezuela!!!

I have a Rolex Submariner 5513 made in 1984. I will sale it if i get a fear price. No box but i do have de papers that came in the box.. Respond if you are interested.
Good List. I think in another 6 months (at least here in the States) that list of 10k Rolexes will increase. Market continues to down trend here, inflation is still 5% and the recession is still lurking around.
Hi Happy jewelers, I Watch you utube and want to acquire/buy one, please tell me How can I buy one? I’m interested with the Submariner 41mm with date. I will wait for your reply, thanks.
Rolex RUINED their brand with the 2015-2022 bubble. In 5 to 10 years, Rolex will begin to visibly anger people the same way that wearing Ferrari or Porsche clothing angers people. It’s a douche watch now. You know it’s true……
Not that hard to find deals on great Rolex’s under 10k or close on newer ones. e.g. picked up two Sub’s within the last month. A 16610 date, 2003-4 serviced by Rolex in 2022 in excellent condition for $7500. Picked up a 126610ln 5/2022 complete for $11,000 just last week. I’ll admit I have somewhat of a advantage by knowing people in the business, but if one is a watch enthusiast it’s not that hard to meet people who deal in the used watch business and get great deals.
Amazing selection you’ve put together for this video. For myself it’s between the grape starburst dial OP with red accents was or the 41mm discontinued white numeral dial date adjust with the fluted bezel.
I wont waste yall time for info just a life goal...as a retired soldier ill stack my bread for my first real grown man watch. .i got a citzen when i turned 30 i call my dress watch
3:16 I really recommend these guys if you need a quality watch these are genuine guys who meet your needs Absolutely love the Podcast used guys do I look forward to each one to see which watch is on
