@@trainsmashscott8838 A fair bit before my time so I hadn't heard of him but there will always be plenty of top/international class fielders who were doing the business/setting the mould that some only see modern day cricketers having done first. Same in rugby league which is my main sport.
Ponting and Rhodes were the best of the recent fielders but neither held a candle to Viv Richards. He basically won the West Indies the first World Cup just because of his fielding. He was a flawless fielder
Akki Avasthi haha nope my son we appear when someone speak about chutindians real father as i talk about my sons activity nd now he appear here 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
OMG, When I was playing an indoor game, the batsman hit the ball against the wall, hit the fielders foot (by accident), and hit the wickets. OMG amazing run out.
It will always on top ... the iconic run-out of jonty flying Rhodes ,and being an Indian I would like to give credit of second best run-out to Mohd Indian tiger kaif.
Erm where is Flintoff's throw to run out Ponting in the Ashes 2009 series? Absolutely pivotal to the series and a fantastic throw. Seems only those against England are allowed on here.
***** No you're getting confused. The quality throw was Flintoff. Type in '2009' Ashes Flintoff throw' and you will see it. A quality, huge moment in the series getting out punter. You're thinking of Gary Pratt in 2005 which Ponting got the hump with.
+winchuni22 Sure it was a pivotal moment, but the quality of the run out was nothing special... and you're half-right - you poms are allowed here but only to cop a flogging.
kritt 44 ya but still that attempt was unbelievable. in the history of cricket till now it will be the best eye catching run out attempt ever made. all run out's needs luck
The creator of this video is clearly anti-English. What about Pratt's run out of Ricky Ponting in the 2005 Ashes series? Or Flintoff's run out of Ponting in 2009?
it is like the internet gods have chosen all of the worst you-tubers to be assigned to cricket. Every single one of the cricket list videos is utter crap - in terms of quality. The concept is fine, but god damn...it's like they want to blind us with ugliness.
@@chris5240 I admit it's not good. I would recommend you to check out my newest HD video on run outs - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mhTYVUHMK7I.html
the second to last commentator didn't know what he was talking about first, "Oh that is good running!" then he gets run out then he says, "Oh he may just be in!" and then "Oh he is out" MAKE YOUR MIND UP! Great Video offical cricket!
3:19 is most impressive cos not only does the bowler trap the ball with his foot, like in soccer, but he then manages to "nutmeg" the batsman to run him out!
that one was terrible, shouldnt have been given... he threw the ball so dangerously at the player that he had to dodge it,if not it wouldve injured him...should not be out
Parth Patel The player didn't dodge it, apart from moving his left leg, which could not possibly have been injured! :) The bowler did not throw the ball dangerously at the batsman, the bowler threw the ball directly at the stumps, because the batter was out of his ground, and the proof is that the ball hit the stumps full flush. If the ball had been thrown at the batsman's head on purpose, then it would be a "foul", but you can see that the ball is thrown directly at the wickets.
Yes but earlier the fielding standard was not this high. Players are much more athletic in the last 20 years or so. The fielding revolution was brought about by Jonty Rhodes, mark Waugh etc
In my opinion the best run out was in SH vs RCB - 46th Match Replay (Pepsi IPL 2014) When Dale Steyn bowled Rana and the keeper(Naman Ohja) ran out Mitchel Starc. It was soooooo funny. Even the commentators were laughing. :)
