Awesome! Although I wondered when you said the vintage Crumb had an articulated tail. The one I have does not, same as my Jabba can't turn his head all the way to the front. This is most likely due to the fact that I got mine used and they are probably old and worn out. On my channel I just made a video showcasing all my Return of the Jedi figures. You can check that out to see my exact figures.
Nifty video with some very cool stuff I'd never seen before! Thank you! Did you know Jabba the Hutt's hookah shows up in an episode of the Classic "Doctor Who"? (Specifically, Season 21, the first Sixth Doctor story, "The Twin Dilemma".) You get very good looks at it in Part 4, at roughly 12:57, 13:11, 13:38, 14:46, and from about 15:58 to 19:56. Funnily enough, it's in the throne room of a growling evil gastropod character in "Doctor Who," too!
I don't think it's possible, unfortunately. The only way would be to find someone who owns the Holiday Crumb and doesn't mind selling the Jabba. But if it doesn't need to be based on the vintage Jabba, the Micro Machines Series 4 Jabba figure is pretty similar in feel: mightyjabba.com/2016/05/01/star-wars-micro-machines-jabba-the-hutt-from-series-4/
I think the Regal Robot Salacious Crumb would probably top the list now. It probably wasn't available when this video was made. At $4000 it isn't exactly for everyone.
Yeah it wasn’t available when I made the video and I also don’t have one. I’m sure it’s amazing since I have a lot of other Regal Robot stuff but the Sideshow piece is good enough for me (and it was insanely cheap at the time it came out)
You mean to tell me that a bunch of people funded a group called "Watto-Graphs" and DIDN'T expect to get swindled? You... DID see the Phantom Menace, right?
Well, we did try and get them to take Republic Credits but it didn't work for some reason... Seriously though, Wattographs had been around for quite some time at that point and had successfully delivered a number of projects, so there was no reason to be overly suspicious
Crumb Tastic! I have three Mini Resin Printed Ones that were Snapshots of what scale I found suitable for the Printed Jabba I’m working on! Great Character! I hear that they’re Particularly Good to Eat!? Especially Spit Roasted! Mmm- Mando Style!
Aw man, neither one of Sideshow's 1/6 scale Salacious Crumb's made it on the list. Same with Hasbro's Black Series 6" scale or their bean bag plush buddy (that I have perched on the large plush Jabba that Walmart sold years back). I was thinking those items didn't make the list simply cause they came with other stuff, but that's not it. As a fellow Jabba enthusiast, I'd definitely put the V2 1/6 scale Salacious in the top 3. And absolutely, the lifesize statue is #1. I returned mine at the time due to one eye having cataracts. Instead of getting a replacement, I was so aggravated with how much money I spent and time waiting, I just got a refund from Sideshow. What a horrible decision I made.
I didn't include those figures because they were accessories, as you said. And also I wanted the list to have more variety. But they are great figures.
The only Crumb I had was from the Desert Palace set of the Star Wars Action Fleet series. He was permanently attached to Jabba’s tail. Actually it’s the Jabba the Kenner Jabba is holding in all your videos, but is Crumb missing? I would love to see a video on the Desert Palace set. I heard there were different releases of this set.
Mighty Jabba's Collection I know that Slave Leia is from the Desert Palace set. Looks like the Sail Barge set uses the same Jabba minus Crumb, minus Leia. The one from the Sail Barge has more tan on his belly.
Again, this doesn’t include all Salacious Crumb collectibles. I tried that originally and it was unmanageable because there were just too many to narrow down. But maybe I will do one with just action figures, in which case the LEGO figure would definitely be included
