literally I always find it funny the nods the shows give to Thanos first with loki seeing his helicopter and imagining him just using that and same with hawkeye drinking out of a cup that says the same thing from the urinal

Thanos was one of the two best characters in the entire MCU the other being Ultron

Yeah, it’s much more satisfying when arrogant prick villains who hide behind their subordinates because they can’t fight themselves. Thanos was fairly likeable.

He was a character we loved to hate

funny thing, Ego is probably wrong, quill is either making his own core unconsciously or already has one but it's small. He's still a half celestial.

Two different men, different ideologies, same love for their daughters. Although, Tony had a better relationship with his, whereas Thanos' own hated him, and for good reason..

The universe was clear about rejecting Thanos' plan so Thanos forced his plan onto the universe making it clearly about him doing things for himself not for everyone else. That's just the lie many villains use to pretend that they're being good and righteous even as they're creating oceans of blood of those that they've killed.

Tell me about it. I mean, he: - Turned his own daughter into a robot/cyborg - Basically tortured and abused girls to become soldiers - Mind controlled the girls - Took away any chance for those girls to have kids/a family List could go on

All men like him deserved a painful death. But they need to feel the pain long enough to see, and for others to see, that crimes like that cannot go unpunished!

@@WCLCooke, yeah, if I were a telepath and/or empath, I'd make him see the memories of his actions through the eyes of his victims; not only that, but combine it with feeling their pain, it'll be agonizing. He'll scream in pain and beg for mercy as he made others do, and it'll be a long while before I shut off the torture only to make him shudder in fear. His death will be just as pathetic and cruel as his actions were, so what does it take to show him his actions have consequences to them?

Especially that one guy, whathisname. Umm...Taserface. Ahem...yeah, that guy. (I'm stifling a laugh here.)

@@alwinsibi1728 i mean, the scene is very well made. We all hyped with what Tony said here. However, if you think about it makes little sense. Thanos and Hulk had difficulties dealing with the power of all 6 stones at the same time while Tony was just like "huh". I mean, in Endgame they spent like 3 minutes creating a gaunlet for Hulk, but then Tony with his current armor just takes them all, and grabs them like nothing. In Infinty War you could see that the stones atached with great strengh to Thanos gaunlet. And, if i'm not wrong with this, but Tony lasts like 20 seconds to snap his fingers, in that time Thanos could just have run to him or even throw that OP battle axe he used all the fvking time.

And the satisfaction of knowing that in the universe he came from it was saved from his efforts to murder half the life in the universe and can work on resolving the issue of resource depletion in a sane, moral fashion.

For me the most hated character on Agents of Shield was Whitehall from season 2, all tho I was always happy to see him coming back in flashbacks (s3 and s5). His death would would be more satisfying if Cal would be the one killing him, instead of Coulson. Whitehall was truly evil, most of s2 and s5 could be avoided if not him, his actions literally turned Daisy's parents into villains.

He got a few scenes on Agents of Shield that kinda exaplains his motivations. He had a few scenes in season 1 but he was more like a side character and then on season 5 we see flashbacks of him as a teenager - he's definitelly more likable as teenager than as adult.

I mean he did literally ask for it when he demands his cup, plus he was the most vile little shit ever

And to think, Batman gave him his flashlight... that's gratitude for ya.

It would have created some plotholes if thanos died after he snapped. The gauntlet would have just dropped in front of the surviving aveners, so they could just have instantly undone everything lol

@@cokie4760 I know, but my point is that his whole agenda was completely useless and hypocritical. There are measures he could’ve taken in case he was one of the snapped. Then again, his whole campaign in the name of “balance” was just a hero complex of his anyway.

I'm not sure it was intentional he didn't turn into dust. He may have been merely lucky, being in the surviving half. Don't forget, he risked his life with the Gauntlet twice. Once when he did the snap, and again when he destroyed the Stones. He didn't know if he would survive either of these acts or not. Remember, he didn't even flinch when he saw his future, being killed by Thor. I think he didn't fear death, he only feared he would die before he could "save the universe".

I don’t tend to look at the MCU through the same lense as the comics, since the MCU is a universe in itself apart from the comics, but if I was to take one of his comic counterpart’s qualities is that he can’t generally die through conventional means due to Lady Death vanishing him from her kingdom. If this was true in the MCU then maybe that’s why the snap didn’t get him. But then again, Tony snapped him out of existence so I don’t know, because at that point Tony SPECIFICALLY snapped him and his army out of existence. A lot to ponder on.

I used to think that scene was played for laughs, with Vulture claiming that he thought it was the anti gravity gun, so I didn't like it. But then, I realized that it was BS. Toomes knew exactly that it wasn't the anti gravity gun. He just came with that BS so he wouldn't scare off the rest of his crew.

For me Jiaying's death wasn't satisfying, it was tragic. Jiaying tried to kill Daisy as one of her insane ways of protecting her daughter. At first she desperly wanted Daisy with her on her side so instead of going for the kill like she did with Reina.... she had her knocked out and locked up because she truly wanted her daughter with her and hope that in time she'll understand and see things in her way. Jiaying's damaged and traumatized on a psychological level that can never fully be heal, and as such she will never ever trust humans again, no matter how much they claim to want to help her (especially she won't trust in goverment agencies, remember that in 1989 Hydra was pretending to be Shield - this is why both Cal and Jiaying are blaming Shield for everything). As she also said, she's lived an extremely long life, and seen humans do unthinkably horrible things again and again. She is only doing whatever in her eyes is right to protect her people (Inhumans) and she doesn't trust humans anymore. Jiaying no longer can tell right from wrong and thought that getting rid of what she views as a threat to her people was the right thing to do. Remember that it was Shield who took her baby and hide her so that Jiaying and Cal couldn't find her. Hydra might have tortured and killed her but Shield isn't innocent in her eyes either. Also when Gordan first took Daisy to afterlife it was after her daughter escaped from Shield who hunted her down and even tried to kill (remember that they had real guns and Daisy didn't knew about second Shield faction so Jiaying couldn't know about it either). Before Whitehall cut Jiaying into pieces she cared about human life (as Cal described in finale) but after that human lifes stopped matter for her because she was blaming humans for all her suffering so she was doing everything which was in her eyes necessary to help/save her people. It is just well written tragic character who isn't herself anymore. She was also great manipulator because she knows exactly how to use Skye's past and need for family to manipulate her and how much she needed to say to people in Afterlife so they could follow her, Cal was her another victim. And all of this probably would never happen if not Whitehall. Jiaying is at 4th spot on my list of best AoS antagonist. And season 7 just proofs that Jiaying was never truly evil and that she really cared about her daughters.

@@bifa5414 I like the season 7 jiaying better. Shes more moral and getting a glimpse of what she done to daisy 30 somethin yrs later she changed her ways before it even happened

@@bifa5414 I kinda feel bad for talbot tho. He's not actually a bad guy. He's just downright mean. Plus if he didn't absorb the gravitonium the agents of shield would've been killed. Its just the gravitonium corrupted his mind causing him to think one sided

@@leonardolim8976 Yeah, you can say that both Jiaying and Talbot were victims of the situation. If Whitehall wouldn't cut Jiaying into pieces and Hydra wouldn't take Daisy then Jiaying would be still good. And if Hale wouldn't brainwash Talbot and Yoyo would actually watch over him like Coulson ordered then he also would be good.

@@bifa5414 I love yoyo. Sure she doesn't have the look I crave for but she kinda reminds me of robbie Reyes. Not bc they r Spanish but they both are chill and calm. Also they both debuted as kind of a bad guy first

@@insecdroid very true. the final season showing us Jaiying as she used to be was one of my favorite moments in the series. Between losing Kora and being tortured & experimented on by Whitehall, it's no wonder she became the villain she was....but those moments in the final season were enough to make us wonder "what if?"

It’s possible that he’s still alive in the Quantum Realm, albeit insane with getting revenge on Ant-Man and Wasp past and present.

@@calvinfujii5921 His limbs went into his body unlike what happened when Ant-Man went quantum. His shrink into the quantum realm was fatal.

Yeah but Thanos was the big looming threat throughout the Infinity saga, killed all our favourite characters with a snap... doesn't get more satisfying when Iron Man gives him the reverse uno card

I kind of hoped either a good version of him from the altered timeline of season 7 or his framework counterpart in an LMD would end up with the team in the end

we don't know if Ghost is dead though...they were trying to help her in the end, that's the whole reason Scott was in the Quantum Realm when the snap happened...
