In that scene from She’s The Man, Monique had a pretty savage one herself. She said it to Andrew (the guy sitting next to Duke) “Girls with asses like mine do not talk to boys with faces like yours.”
What about Elle Woods? How does getting into a whole law school, getting a spot in a prime internship, standing up for yourself against sexual harassment, and winning a whole case while maintaining client confidentiality after having your boyfriend leave you for not being "serious enough" not make the cut?
1. The cinderella story 2004 5 stars 2. The cinderella story christmas wish 4.5 stars 3. Another cinderella story 3.5 stars 4. Once upon a song 3 stars 5. If the shoes fits trash
"You're a virgin who can't drive" will always be a shocking burn. It's even more hilarious when you realise that Brittany Murphy was actually both of these things when she filmed the scene! 😅
Hilary Duff deserved WAY MORE CREDIT for ‘A Cinderella Story’. The speech in the locker room (totally inappropriate to enter such a space but it’s a movie) was quite cool and hit Austin right in the FEELZ.
Being a virgin is not a bad thing no matter how old you are, but in the context of the movie being sexually active earned you street cred and the cherry on top "who can't drive" was a double burn cuz Cher just failed her driving test.
@@andrewjones575 I think they meant how assertive and courageous she was, how she wasn't scared to stand up. She wasn't that cliché sweet girl, she was the skeptic "has a lot to say" girl.
I knew that Tai would be #1 it really is way harsh, an underrated one is in Mean Girls where they’re buying prom dresses and the Regina can’t find one her size, the saleswoman says “Why don’t you go to Sears?” It’s the reactions for me 🤣
Nothing from Heathers? My favorite is from the end of the movie when Heather Duke tells Veronica you look like Hell, Veronica replied yeah I Just got Back.
I feel bad for austin in cinderella story. Sure shud he have stood up for sam during public humiliation? Absolutely. To defend him, it's not all his fault. He's also the victim of the humiliation and he's caught in the crossfire between humiliation, and the decision to choose to save Sam or letting his dad down. He's just as a victim as much as Sam is
It isn't just the pep rally. I totally feel for him there, too. It's all the times that his friends bullied her and he did nothing. It's the fact that he was so self-absorbed he couldn't figure out who she was. I mean, I can suspend the disbelief that he didn't recognize her with the mask. There have been social experiments that have proven that Superman would, in fact, be able to hide among the public as Clark Kent with just a pair of glasses. But once he decided to start looking for her, he should have been able to figure it out based on her interests, the things she said in their past emails, etc. And then after the pep rally, he should have sought her out, but he just avoided her.
@@MeyaRoseGirl plus I think the concept is to copy the concept from 1951 cinderella. Like cinderella who was masked by her glass shoe, this 2004 cinderella was masked by her...well...mask
@@leonardolim8976 I totally agree with you! Austin was as much of a victim as Sam was! It wasn't his fault at all! He just wanted to be loyal to his dad and not disappoint him. It's actually kind of sad, when Sam comes into the locker room and starts berating him. You can clearly see in Austin's eyes, that he's close to tears.
@@andrewjones575 i don't think it had intentions of being the next godfather. it's just a chick flick, it's not really that important of a movie to be so triggered to reply to anyone who said they enjoyed it
So the common thing in these teen movies is that the protagonist's rivals and so-called friends are are a bunch of arrogant bastards and pricks & they have to be just as cutthroat to come out on top. High school can be so cruel.
The only movies I like and I've seen the most on this list are, The Lizzie McGuire movie, bring it on, A Cinderella story and mean girls they're the only ones that I like, all the rest of don't care for especially 17 again and freaky Friday cuz those of you just way weird.
@@thewildbruce5612 I would guess that you’re one of those teen psychos who’s living in a fantasy world thinking that teens are so much better than everyone else.
You want to know something hilarious ? My dad would watch everything we would so he got subjected to our Camp Rock phase. And he adopted that hand gesture as a way to jokingly tell us to buzz off. He would put his hand in the W position but instead of stopping for the letters E and M he would roll his hand to land in the L position. None of us ever did it, only him, and he did it for years.
