@@gizmo2101pretty sure he did. That's probably why the dog darted away real fast. Maybe he saw the gopro, and thought they might check it, and see him there, and he didn't think he'd have a way out with them still there, so he wanted to grab the camera and break it. Unless the dog just noticed him, and got spooked.

The under the bed was without a doubt a squatter and if you look closely when the dog first shines the light on him he looks asleep so as the dog is approaching the guy hears the footsteps and wakes up while holding what could be a weapon or some sort maybe a knife judging by his hand posture!
