On what criterion this ranking was made? What are the parameters on which measurements were made? What are the metrics? Once upon a time there were only 5 CBSE schools in kovai including KV. 3 of them migrated to matriculation board. They were the best schools in kovai then. They were the only schools which sent students to IITs and IIMs during 70s & 80s. They don't figure in list. The rankings don't sound authentic.
Stanes school was once popularly referred to as 'Rowdy School' during 70s & 80s. Mostly anglo indians would join. Parents of decent noble families would not admit their children in stanes school. Even colleges in kovai would hesitate to admit stanes students for their known rowdeeism. Students learn 'b' words and 'f' words from stanes school. May be school is better now. After Mr Bernard took over as HM he made strict rules and the anglo guys curtailed their tails. Stanes is never the best. It is always far from best. Full of anglo indian b's & f's.
@@godricks3943 True! It was founded by Sir Robert Stanes, during British Rule and taken over by Indians in All Souls Church after independence. Discipline nose-dived, decayed and deteriorated to worst, until Mr Bernard took over as HM. Think 1000 times before admitting your children. Better not admit there. Never admit in Stanes or Carmel Garden. Worst schools reputation for rowdees. There are so many better schools. There is Lisieux, Nehru Vidyalaya, Avila convent, Alvernia convent, Mani HS, Suburban, St Michaels', St Francis, St Mary's, St Joseph, etc etc
I feel like laughing...when u get to see the the old students association meeting...u can see all sports men,,big company ceos and wel established business men..if these ppl.are called to be a rowdy gang...then it's fine to put ur ward there
