I made a video of the Titanic map on my channel when I first came across it. I'm a big Titanic fanatic, and having a recreation of the ship in Gmod within the games limitations is fine by me.
I remember watching old RU-vid videos on Acids maps and the Ropax also this old titanic map where it was a giant prop that had no interiors, map was in the day and you had to sink it with hoverballs but it was really popular and nearly every one used for gmod titanic videos back in the day... Also the 4th funnel did kinda have a use, which was for ventilation of engine room and smoking room..
I remember having a sinking ship map that was super detailed and split in half at some point, i forget what it was but I don't think it was any of the ones in the video
12:20 Actually the 4th funnel was not a dummy funnel, in fact it was used for ventilating smoke out for the smoking room, which is underneath the funnel.
I remember thinking the RMS Valiant was a titanic map and a few years ago I thought if I typed titanic I would find it but it obviously failed. Now I know the name of the ship that I have wanted to find for literal years! So thanks for that!
The titanics fourth funnel shot out smoke from the smoking room and if not blowing out steam it fuctions as a large suction of air for ventallation of the bottom decks

A common misconception about the Titanic sinking. The stern did not go vertical. It just wouldn't be possible without falling over. Instead it is likely that it collapsed on it's side and was dragged under on it's side without raising too much.
Well, the fourth smokestack of titanic actually did a job at the smoke out of the kitchen are used has a big air vent and in one of the titanic pictures you could see a person pop his head up
The Titanic one makes the Titanic Nerd in me rage a bit over the size, fourth funnel smoking, and the funnels not falling and but I’ll admit…..the sinking is pretty cool except for the power still being on. The power would have been big time out around the time it split in half.

Bruh this ain't the Titanic that's the Olympic. The A deck promenade on the Titanic had its forward half enclosed, this model has an entirely open A Deck Promenade. This is more like the Olympic than the Titanic
the only problems I have with sinking ships is. A. they dont snap when they should (like a long boat/large boat staying fully intact) B. the boat snaps almost instantly
now, for titanic personally i think that the lights went out as soon as the boat - deck fell beneath the water cause of the 4th funnel and the gash it made in the funnel casing and when that area went underwater that's when the lights went out, but that's my opinion
Titanic didn't sink that way. It sank by splitting in front of the third funnel where the stern slipped under. But it didnt go 90 degrees. It wouldn't be able too
That Titanic adventure map doesn't look like Titanic? I looked at the A deck promenade and the spacing on the B deck windows and that looks more like a slightly altered Olympic to me.

I wanted a ship that can roll over/capsize oh wait you can if you use large prop if you knock or bounce from the bottom of the ship you can make the ship sink in different angel Poseidon style or other ways Valiant prilgrim holland honourable I hope someone make battleship sinking map
@NecrosVideos how would you like if I tried making one of those. I am a source/ source2 modder so it should not be to hard but it seems like a good challenge, I will put the map once made in the comments of this.
