You should do a top 10 mistakes episode too. It would be super informative for anyone trying to get started to be able to learn from your experience condensed down like that
I've been hitting up my local Plato's closet recently and picked up John Elliott Lebron's for $60, Brand New JW Anderson Converse for $18, and 2021 Jordan 5 Oreos for $120. Might sell them but they're all shoes I really like!!
Love your series Seth!!! You've inspired me to embrace my love for fashion and especially sneakers. You don't need to hear this from me but keep up the great work!!!!
I'll throw in my experience with AJ1s heading into thrift stores: people buy maybe a few pairs, a some of which may be quite hyped. But on feet, they're not that amazing after a few hours, and people often say "Looks nice, but I have a few pairs already and there's not much time I am willing to put these on my feet, especially when there are far more comfortable shoes out there". They simply think of how often they're going to really use them...and that often means they're just taking up space.
Love this series Seth! Allways looking forewarf to the next episode. It rly amazes me that you can start an awesome collection for just 20 bucks. Id love to see you purchase some mystery/beater boxes for this challenge. I think that could be nice for this series. Keep up the AWESOME work bro!
What’s the brand of your pants that you wear when you review and wear sneakers? Its the pants that seems to have a velcro or button at the hem part? Its the pant that you wear when you reviewed the yeezy 350 v2 beluga.. Thanks for your response seth
I feel like there was a $100 come up sneaker in the first few episodes that should be on this list. I do remember that that being the pivotal point where the series took off.. maybe it was the flu games but I dont think so. I believe it was like a size 13 jordan. 🤷 Anyways the series shouldn't end man. Its the best thing on your channel.
Never understood why some people prioritize buying sneakers over bills especially if its a pair that recently dropped and they only go over a few bucks over retail.
Lol the zip tie is actually part of the shoe the StockX tag isn’t tf is wrong w y’all man 😭 normally I’m wear how you want but no please stop walking around with authentication tags on ya feet
watching your vids kind of inspired me to try and do the same. I bought some Chicago 13s from my friend for 40 dollars and sold them for 160 through a meet up.
Did you start reading “Blink” by Malcolm Gladwell yet? PS love this series, and I got my purple lobsters almost the exact same day I saw you traded for yours
Man idk about this. Where I'm at thrift stores have old dirty dress shoes. Is this real???? I ant never seen no Jordan's. At least not with holes in the toe box
I was thinking exactly the same but charity shops seem to be the closest thing to a thrift store that we’d have here but they aren’t gonna have any good shoes, best bet probably is outlet stores and Tkmaxx
As silly as it may look and despite factories in China putting stockx tags on reps to make them look more authentic. I have seen 2 people out in the wild in my home state walkin around with the tag still on their sneakers. I thought they looked crazy, but aye, at least they're wearing their sneakers.
tI like your story on customized or replica shoes which I had a similar story when I was able to buy a size 9.5 Nike Off White Vapormax (2017) in one of the thrift shops here. Its original price was 50 US dollars and I ended up buying it at 44. It was an awesome almost brand new look rubber shoes but I dont know if its legit, customized or replica. It do attracted alot of people when I wear them and I might end up re-selling them in the near future. Good job Seph! Keep doing videos like this. I do similar style of buying here worth less than 20 US dollar for a pair. Good luck!
