Great video, Jamie! Those balletcore sneakers are really out there, but they look super comfortable! Yes, I'd love a video on styling sneakers! Thank you! ❤️
I always love your videos. You provide such useful information but this video hit the mark for me. I wear so many sneakers based on foot issues. I also like mixing higher style with casual low style. I love, love, love the texture fabrics and the suede sneakers. Thank you for making this video!
Yes to a styling your sneakers videos. I have pink, blue and red converse and regular flats as well as white, Reebok cream, brown, black, lavender….. I love sneakers. What about adding gold or silver show laces?
What I love about your content is the freshness and unique slant... Always a step ahead of the other influencers in a very quiet and unrated manner....but very impactful...
A styling video on denim sneakers would be great. Finally found sneakers that are allowing my plantar fasciitis to heal and I can’t wait to start buying shoes again. The ballet flats/sneakers look very interesting to me.
My sister and I are going on a sister trip to Greece & Turkey in June. I have feet issues so need to wear good support shoes. I would love to see your thoughts on what styles of sneakers to wear with skirts/ dresses, capris etc.
Luv your videos! They are fun to watch! This one was a good one! SO many options on sneaks! My FAVE our the Golden Goose! You are right! They are a bit pricey but I wear mine alll the time! Worth every penny! I'm so happy you mentioned they are still in style! I'm about to buy my second pair! Rose Gold Glitter! I think GG sneaks will never go out of style! Italians know how to make quality shoes! Thank you! Keep goin' with your videos! You are doing great!
Saw FB advertising some dance shoes with pivot points underneath. I bought a silver metallic one. Can’t wait to try it on our wooden floor and on dance nights!
I've been wearing Adidas for years,i never considered it they were in or out of style. I am happy about the color and the glitter, i just received a pair of pink sparkly converse in the mail yesterday. And it wasn't to be fashionable but because it's what Roger Taylor of Queen wore and I thought they were cool.
I am pretty exclusively wearing sneakers with everything today due to upcoming knee surgery, and I feel like I will continue to do so. I would love to see you style all these types of sneakers.
Great video! I have to admit that I never liked or wore dirty sneakers as a kid. Same holds true today. I just can't bring myself to pay $100+ for something that looks like trash. The distressed look is not a part of my style aesthetic. But I am enjoying the retro looks immensely!
I love my Golden Goose sneakers. They are one of my few luxury items. I’m retired and dress casually but I wear them ❤everywhere. New Balance is my favorite due to foot issues. Looking for some pink sneakers now. Good video.
I Stay on trend my sneaker collection is complete but now I'm building a western boot collection because i recently discovered they are more comfortable than sneakers they offer my foot and heel structure as I have a mild foot issue and I like to be different, But mixing different styles is so much fun, sometimes a unique change makes you stand out 😊 Thank you for another excellent video!❤
Thanks for Western boot alternative to sneakers! I was wondering what would/could replace their comfort...thought of boots but have never worn Westerns (Australian here) 🤠
@lynnebarren2410 dare to be different sneakers are cute and definitely have a place, but everybody will be matching around. In sneakers , imagine an unexpected quality western boot?
I love sneakers and loved this video! I would love to see some videos on styling different kinds of sneakers with different styles of clothes. I think what I struggle with is wearing a more athletic sneaker (in neutral colors) with “regular clothes”, rather than workout or athleisure wear. Does that make sense? Like even the simplest outfits with jeans. They look good on other people, but I always feel weird when I put them on. In the past it just looked dumpy and frumpy, but now it’s the style. I’d love to feel confident in it. I’m older😅 and I’m all in for comfort, so I hope to get some tips to help me feel more confident. Thanks, Jamie!
I really needed this video. I’ve just started researching metallic sneakers but many of them are either expensive or not my style. I’ve always liked the look of the Rag & Bone retro sneakers and I found a pair in silver with a blue accent. I’d be ticking three trends in one 🤩
Thanks Jamie. Good rundown on sneakers. They are so comfortable andbversatile but have become so ubitiquise, what do you think is a good alternative????🤓
I have a great minimalistic white leather, laceless, "flatform" designer dupe sneaker from Zalando. Great for dressing down more conservative looks. Surprised something similar wasn't shown here but great video as always! Thanks ❤
Classic white sneakers with silver metallic would be pretty. High top 'converse' looks nice on some people but don't know if I can pull it off. I am 5'2". Any suggestions (want it under $50)? You kidding, I am keeping preppy, edggy, distressed in, I love it and doing it whether it's in or out. I love your picks and like to hear what is in though I have my own personal style and keeping it, and will mix in some newer stuff that 🤩 me.
I am getting on board with some of the sneaker options. I must say that while I am able to buy Golden Goose for myself, it doesn't seem like a good way to spend $500+. It's all what one values for sure and I'm not wowed by them for some reason.
As an athleisure gal ~ I love this topic! That said a big no to 'pleather'. This cheap material has no longevity. It cracks, flakes, and ends up in the landfill. I have a lovely leather jacket that I've had for 20+ years and the only thing I need to repair is the lining which has split. The leather is in perfect condition. I wish vegan leather would die as it's simply not sustainable.
Oh good I don’t have to clean sneakers this year? Is that what distressed means or was I missing something. Love pink though and sneakers in general as a member of the work from home crowd I find them a little more appealing to wear than slippers all the time.
I have a couple pair of Nike Air Max, and they are great for lots of walking. I have a more plain Target pair - also very good, and then my Adidas, which are ok, but not for a ton of walking (like when I travel). I’ve always hated distressed sneakers…and still do! They just look tacky, to me.
Trainers are sports shoes while sneakers are usually not as well structured. AND definitely at present a fashion show...trainers sre great to wear for walking, etc, ( and necessary for running, sports) more support!
Please don’t buy real leather or suede. It’s no different from buying fur. In 2024 we don’t need to wear someone’s skin on our feet, there are thousands of other more ethical and sustainable options. ✌🏻
