@@spurs815 No he would not of had. He would _have_ had the highest break. And yes, Neil tells him, and Ronnie doesn't care one bit. In fact it seems he likes Neil to have it.
In a final years ago(can't remember which one) Ronnie jumped to Dings defence when a spectator made a derogatory comment, he went up to the fan and said something like "if you don't like it mate go home, no one's forcing you to be here". 😁
One of the things I love about snooker is that when a player is hunting a 147, everyone backs him. Opponent, fans, even the ref. We've all got our favourites, but I was even cheering on Shaun Murphy before he bottled his last red earlier this year.....
Was similar when he equalled Hendry's record, crowd cheered every pot as he cleared up, ref just let them go. Great atmosphere and nice to see the ref not spoiling it.
I was actually in Preston and watched this live. It truly was a memorable moment. Ronnie egged on the crowd, and enjoyed every second of it. So did we, of course :)
Ronnie's 1000th century was easily the best snooker moment ive ever watched. What a great video you have put together! This made me look forward to the new season so much!
This video is a great example of why Snooker is the absolute ultimate gentlemen's game. Nothing but absolute respect for pure brilliance from opponents.
I wish I could hear what Robertson and Ronnie are saying. I love seeing these men who are so serious and silent for hours and hours break into smiles and chumming about
Great quality. I enjoyed every minute of the video. Your captions and timing of cuts are spot on. Even the music at the end sounds great. Would love to see more videos like this when the next season begins.
I remember watching that 147 attempt by Ding live. My family hate snooker and they were glued to their seats cheering Ding on. It’s a shame he missed the green it was such a thrilling break
I honestly felt for Ding,he was putting everything he had into that frame.Just great tension along the way. What great sportsmanship by Neil Robertson when Ronnie got his thousandth century, that is one of the reasons I love this sport so much,it is a true gentleman’s game.
@6:45 Ronnie acknowledges the fluke probably and has some encouraging words for his opponent. Always good to see. I think Ronnie seems to observe his opponents mood and facial expressions and makes sure to give his opponent some encouragement at the end of his matches either win or lose. I have observed Ronnie do this on a number of occasions. A real champion.:)
One last time I want ronnie to win a world championship... Fans favorite ❤ Nothing will be better for fans, snooker associates and the sponsors... He is the heart of snooker... 99% of my generation guys learn snooker just because of his inspiration
Why have I not seen this before? I subscribe. This is in my top 5 vids of yours, Cesar. A brilliant compilation of shots and breaks, with nearly all of my favourite players on display. Ronnie, obviously, the GOAT, But john Higgins, Ronnie's nemesis, doing what he does best. Judd Trump, a cueing genius. What a guy Ding is, that 147 attempt was glorious, and his ( AND Ronnie's ) reaction to that yellow! And then to see my fellow Aussie, Neil Robertson's reaction to THAT century? Priceless stuff, Cesar, and of course your immaculate editing. Bravo! I love this channel.
1:53 the King’s reaction was priceless. “ did he strike that well” over and over. Nobody can appreciate a great shot like that better than the King himself. Loved it.
What a rivalry Ronnie and Mark S seem to have. Always makes Ronnie work hard for them points. Also Ronnie has nothing but praise for Mark in his interviews. I think it’s selbys season to shine 2020
I’m here for RONNIE!! Seriously been a fan since he broke through in ‘92.. Just wish he could have bagged the Masters Finals .. if he takes Judd in Belfast he would have also won at Alley Palley.. here’s hoping for a successful 2019 & 2020.. if he decides to play 🤞
I was watching pool practice a lad nominated black into top right corner...the black hit the jaws flying off of the table and over the ( upstairs practice room) balcony. The black ball then landed on a over table light fitting on the floor below rolled the length of the light fitting dropping neatly onto a ground floor pool table (we were screaming over the balcony..DUCK) We ALL watched in AMAZEMENT as the black ball rolled dead weight into said nominated pocket on a different table..on another floor!! My point is while this is a great video all professional snooker players can and DO regularly pull off amazing shots. To say these are the BEST TEN is a bit silly tbh.
@@danielsonhud48 To be clear, the video title says "The top 10 of the season", not of all time, and I didn't say it was the best of all time, I just said it was "One of the best" videos and I stand by that. And to be fair, I think it was meant to be some of the more "impactful" shots. There certainly are a lot of great videos. You can't put all the best in one video. Anyway, my main point was that I didn't understand why people would express DISLIKE for this one. By the way, your description of that amazing shot you saw in practice--if played in a real match--would be a foul. I was also a little confused when you referred to it as "pool" practice. "Snooker" and "pool" are definitely not the same, but that's a minor point. Peace, brother.
I just realized Selby is just a really good bloke, salt of the earth, and a real pro, he's had his struggles with the darkness, but I really admired his honesty, I wish him well, and I wish all you viewers health & prosperity to you and your families.
Its been two years for me watching ronnie.... I m badly addicted to watch his centuries and Maximums. I might have watched more 800 centuries....... Lol
I remember when Ding came on the scene, everyone was like "Theres a Chinese Man playing snooker" Now its like "Theres a Fuckin Chinese Man Playing Snooker, Hell Yeah!!" Guy is world class, no denying it
