Then, Ottomans conquered Constantinople which led to the creation of Konstantiniyye. The Ottoman conquest of Balkans, Caucasia, Levant and other Beyliks finally made Ottoman Empire at its greatest extent. The colonization of western and north-eastern Arabia led to the rise of Sultanates of Hejaz and Najd. After the WWI, the Ottoman Empire was colonized by Hellenia (Greece), France, Britain and Italy. What was left of the Ottoman State was converted into the Republic of Türkiye in which the new successor state of Ottoman Empire took back its former lands of Anatolia including Konstantiniyye.
