Thank you for the video Chandan. Really informative :). Coincidentally, I just saw a video about this exact topic on another channel, and tbh I first time disliked any video LOL. Because, the actual useful information was very little and really badly organized, and most of the video was about what they were doing for their own garden, which is of little use for the watchers. And it was long too, which felt like a waste of my time. Your videos are always informative and to the point, and interesting :D. I had bought Amaryllis Lily bulb from my cousin last year but didn't pot them yet. Have to see if it's still alive or not haha. Should pot it as soon as possible... although I think I might be late. I saw it blooming in a house when I was going for a walk, and they look so beautiful. I had put away Rain Lily and Rajnigandha in shade after talking with you about them. So, I should now take them out in sun and fertilize them? Rajnigandha in not in very good condition and most of the leaves have dried off, which I kept pulling off and throwing away. I might have to repot their bulbs. Same with Portulaca... should I put them in sun now? I have Canna Lilies in ground, and they gave great flowers last year. They are really extremely hardy. For several years, their plants were in such a place of our garden, where there was hardly any sunlight. There they didn't grow, and didn't produce flowers, but didn't die either. That time the garden was looked after by our gardener. He even didn't water them properly. Even then they didn't die and survived. When I took garden in my hands, I planted them in an area where they had right conditions, and they grew very fast and produced flowers. Really hardy! Your variegated variety looks awesome... never seen those. Share the photos when they flower. And wow, I didn't know about different types of Begonia. Thanks for the information :).
@Anupam S, Thank you so much Anupama...since you liked it, I can say I am success on this video :D..And, I know about what kind of videos you are talking about. I myself don't want to watch long videos..do it rarely in special conditions. Thank you once again for the feedback, much appreciated :-) The bulbs should be alive..most of the bulbs are hardy and they manage to survive for the next season. And, you are definitely not late :-) I grew 2 of my bulbs and 2 are still remaining. Going to plant them in next 2-3 days. Most of them have already sprouted a bit and I need to do it ASAP. They have also produced lots of babies..which of course not going to bloom this year. Hope, next year they would reach their maturity stage and bloom. For Rain Lily, you can take to the Sun. But instead of fertilizing, just changing the soil a bit would be enough and this is the same thing I am going to do. Would fertilize them later...For Rajnigandha, would be better to plant them in fresh soil as they need good soil. I also don't know what's my bulbs are doing...ha ha..All foliage are died (almost nothing now). I need to dig up them and plant them properly. Though, I was watering the pot once in 7-10 days. So, I hope they are doing okay inside the soil. For Portulaca also, you can keep them in sun now. But, we have to wait for some more days to get blooms on Rain Lily and Portulaca. For Portulaca, you can change the soil a bit (if possible) and can prune them (no need to fertilize before you see they are about to grow actively). This way, they are going to look more bushier. I also need to start working on Portulaca and most importantly the Hydrangeas :-) I love them a lot :-) And, Cannas are really hardy :-) In my place, I don't see them in container. See them mostly in neglected place. However, few people keep them in their garden (in ground) Variegated one is growing well...hope it bloom soon and definitely I would share it. I bought 4 Rhizomes. Wanted to buy more Calla Lilies in other colors..but costly..LOL...I already bought 4. Take care :-) Lots of gardening works to do..ha ha :-)
@@GardeningUpbeat Haha Chandan, my liking is not a criteria :D. Your videos are always great though :), and I think that's why so many people like your videos. And your videos are made in a pleasant style. Even though you have extensive knowledge of plants and gardening... when you make videos, it seems like it's made by someone just like us other users, who are not so much of experts... that's a sign of your humility and good natured approach in making the videos. So, keep up the great work. The bulbs generally don't die so easily, so your bulbs should be okay. Rain Lily had spread so much in my ground garden. I took the bulbs out individually one by one, because as you warned in the video too, they spread a lot. So, I wanted to take them out and grow them in pot. I took them out and kept them to be planted next season. I kept them in my almirah. I planted them after several months, and they all grew without problems. The bulb plants are generally hardy. I think it's not yet time for Rain Lilies to be put in sun. Because, they generally blossom in rainy season, and I feel that the summer sun might be harsh for them. I will plant Rajnigandha bulbs though in a new pot and keep them in sun and prepare them for flowering. Let's see. My Portulacas have been showing little growth while I have kept them in shade. Some parts have dried up too. Yes, I need to plant them in a new potting mix and keep them in sun too. I am glad they survived all these months. I like them a lot. Canna Lilies like to spread. I think that's why it's not seen in pots generally, because they don't get that much space to spread and produce new plants. The old ones have to cut anyways, because they don't produce more flowers once they blossom. And yea, they are often neglected. I didn't put any fertilizer in mine too... just watered them, and even though they blossomed really well. Although I think I should put some fertilizer in them. Can put cow dung fertilizer in them? Haha, so many plants, and so little space and time hmm? :D Take care and happy gardening :D
@Vijayalakshmi Balaji, That's great to know :-) Good luck in planting them :-) If you like, you can also grow Caladium & Nerine lily. I believe you already have them as well.

@Rimjhim Dey, It's actually bit early...Plz avoid watering too much or else, bulb would rot. They would start sprouting very soon. I have a complete video on Football Lily and here is the link - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-639MnyiKB-c.html I would appreciate if you don't call me Sir, just a request :-)
@Parveen Fatima, Hard to tell the exact reason withtou knowing much details...but anyway, they can't tolerate very high temp...Next year please trey at the end of Jan or at least in Feb and they should bloom. Please also be very careful while watering...bulbs would rot if the soil is too wet. Hope that helps, thank you :-)
