Great list. I own Xerjoff Mefisto Gentiluomo. It does smell very fresh and floral. I’ve only worn it a few times though. There’s something in it that “stings the nostrils”, but not in a good way. It’s something sharp and a little headache inducing. It may be the iris. Because of this, I prefer the original Mefisto, which I also own.
DecantX and check venba fragrance for manceras they normally have them for right around $90-$100. Sometimes you can find them on kingdom fragrance for $70
Dallas, this video is great and convincing. Summer is also my favorite season, so I have a long list. of both niche and designer. . NICHE: Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura Roja Parfums Elysium ADP Colonia Essenza Dua Matrix Dua Zeus Elixir Amouage Enclave MFK Acqua Celestia Atelier Pacific Lime Al Haramain Portfolio Neroli Canvas Mancera Cedrat Boise DESIGNER: John Varvatos Artisan Pure Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue Forever Cartier Declaration d'un Soir Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme or Versace Pour Homme Tom Ford Neroli Portifino (could be niche) or Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli
I tried sampling Creed Virgin Island water first note is coconut 🥥 and that lingers for $300. To smell like suntan lotion no thanks! I went with Jo Malone Wood Sage Sea salt it can be layered with their Lime Basil & Mandarin for a personalized scent. They also have a more intense one Oud & Bergamot can also be layered with Lime Basil & Bergamot ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I haven't tried Smoke for the Soul, but Vodka on the Rocks, Bamboo Harmony, Lemon in Zest (puts Roja Oligarch to shame in terms of citrus/vetiver fragrances), and Love the Way you Taste are all regulars in my summer line-up, all awesome! I also use Straight to Heaven OG and Noir Aphrodisaque, which has a bright citric opening and a dry cocoa powder base that works well for summer date nights.
Torn between saving up for a lot average priced frags based on your earlier summer frag video or saving up for a couple of these niche summer frags , awesome video!!!
Dallas's top 5 designer recommendations are off-the-charts. If they suit your taste, you won't regret getting those. You'll probably enjoy them as much as the niche. Be patient and save for the niche.
@@Mark-jp3rg yup his designer lineups is pretty awesome, got a chance to test them out at the mall and they seem like solid performers, never had the chance to try out the niche frags though, will be saving up to buy and try a couple solid niche ones , thanks for the advice 👍
Excellent selection! My newest addition to my niche fragrance rotation is Oud Rain by Renier. Mind blowing combination of tropical fruits, specially mango, with Oud, very unique combination.
I have two Amouage fragrances and they both seem to be mature smelling. I enjoy Sedly. Though I'm curious how the first batch that people complained about smells like.
@@SoggyRaspberry I Bought Cedrat Boisee, Oh Yes! absolutely did, well turned out way better than expected, and as described by many reviewers totally worth the blind buy it's such a phenomenal scent.
Dang it - I definitely thought you said “canvas” not “cannabis” and I was SO excited. The cannabis note isn’t for me so I’m kind of sad and need someone to now come out with a canvas fragrance 😅
@@endrikoroveshi7781 if you were to translate word to word you would be correct. However Sandi is right as it actually means early morning in french use of language.
What do u think about Dua fragrances I recently purchased my first 2 fragrances from the site and they are amazing and super long lasting.. supernova and casino elixir 👍🏼
@@Gelaarsderat honestly I’ve never smelled Elysium so I cannot compare the 2 but what I can say is that supernova does smell really good.. I’ve had it for about 2 months now.. when I got it I sprayed it and put it away as I read your supposed to let it macérate so I did and I can confirm that after letting it sit for about a month the liquid color and scent did change it just smells amazing
Dua Matrix is a great substitute for Xerjoff Nio, and Dua Zeus Elixir is a great replacement for Xerjoff Kobe. I highly recommend those 2. Some Duas are misses but most of the ones I've tried are quite good. I like Supernova but really, really, really like Matrix and Zeus Elixir. Bleu de Dua at Casino Royale is also an impressive hybrid of Bleu de Chanel and MFK Baccarat Rouge 540.
with xerjoff, what is the difference between nio and kobe, which one is better, both neroli., one of my favorite notes, i want to buy one, not sure which one would be more neroli-ish. thanks
I think Kobe is more neroli but it is not obvious at first because it is so well-blended with the other notes. Kobe has a prominent orange top note. Nio is a little heavier on the bergamot. Get small decants of both before making your decision. Both are excellent and unique. I also recommend starting with Dua's Matrix (Nio) and Zeus Elixir (Kobe) first. Both are excellent, strong, and smell like the originals. Pricing is great, given the cost of the originals...If you like neroli, try Acqua di Parma Colonia Essenza. Excellent niche option and much less expensive than Xerjoff.
When are you gonna get into niche like Boadicea the Victorious, Blend Oud, The Merchant of Venice, Spirit of Dubai, Kajal, ATH, Bond No. 9, Morseque, or anything from the Armani Prive collection?
Sedley has a more unique scent. You can find a smaller bottle for about $130 at Perfumes America online. Im glad I have it. I have Percival also. Both great but I'd go with Sedley first 👍
@@jaredramirez8939 I have purchased Sedley, Galloway, Percival and Layton all in the smaller size formulations. They are all legit 👍 shipping is good. Not the fastest but they are NOT knock-offs! I'd recommend 👌
percival is a all year round any occasion day or night performs like a beast compliment getter , Sedley is more or less a one trick Pony a summer banger great scent profile if you can afford it buy both good luck
Guess my nose is still on amateur time. I’m not that impressed by most niche summer fragrances. I bought a lot of decants and a lot of them stink to my nose. Especially Oud Mint Mancera.
@@ChaosFragrances Hey since I figured you were good at this frag game I'm faced with a delema. I need to figure out if there's ungaro pour l'homme III how it smells really musky and thick. While the one I thought I remembered smelling was a completely different fragrance The one I smelled that was Ungaro Pour L'Homme III smelled really airy and sharp, not musky at all. It was a different fragrance. The two I've smelt thus far are the musky version. Do you know if there's a sharp version that I'm speaking of?
