Fun Fact: Extinction is the only canon map to not take place on a space station, kind of interesting thinking about how 90% of the ark story has been on different space stations
@@Giga-Toad exactly ab Is by far the coolest map lore wise imo it's where rockwell just completely lost his humanity and turned into what we know him as today a monster
7:16 A big misconception on the taming of the ice titan and the other titans!! It's not the remaining health that matters (since you can heal the ice titan by luring it out of the arena). So this was patched. It's now the total damage taken by the titan thats decides what quality titan you'll get. So if you almost kill it but have it heal itself, you still get a gamma titan because the game looks at how much damage the titan have taken.
I already said this in one of your videos, but ranking the theropods(giga, carc, rex, megalo, yuty, allo, carno, spino, and bary) would be a good one to celebrate carc’s release.
I heard the Enforcer was supposed to get a 4x resistance from corrupted creatures, but that was unfortunately scrapped. Definitely surprised that the desert titan never got a mention, it's very easy to tame and a great mid-game creature, especially in single player where it can't starve. Can also easily be tamed and added on to a king titan killing party.
@@Oil_boys I use Fixed Permanent Titans mod, but I heard that they also don't starve on single player, but idk. It's been a few years since I've actually tamed a titan.
I'm finally doing an exinction playthrough and I must say the char is the greatest tame I've ever used except shadowmanes and it's use in OSD defenses is so good
I'd like to see your tier list on creatures via mounts vs beatsticks. Example, the Velonosaur is a better mount than a beatstick with it's turret mode, and the Carno is a better beatstick than mount as it doesn't have any "special" abilities that it can't access without a rider.
I spent a year on Extinction when it released. This was the first map to bring pve tribes together when corrupted Wyverns would follow players into the city..... I think pvp people probably enjoyed trolling each other with them lmaooo It's definitely my favourite map.
The only issue ive found with these videos is should a player just be playing casually through the story maps you wont have any nets until genesis, so attempting to tame some pf these is much harder than it looks.
Still waiting for many many fixes for this map... No flock of birds at certain spots, no snow visuals, no rain visuals (Genesis1 issue also), no city holograms, no cryopod creature throw visuals and sound, no tree gathering on snow special effects, biodomes broken on sp still not fixed...
I Still haven't gone to Extinction. Starting on Gen 2 aside, I went in proper order at first and then.... not anymore xD I went Island (yearsss go) > Gen 2 (proper new start) > Island > Scorched > Ab > Gen 1 > Isles > Fjordur > Rag. I really should go to extinction at some point xD I love the Managarmr and the Snow Owl. Enforcer seems like a mechanical rock drake with its climbing and jumping?
I'm very surprise to see the mana at 1st Top 5 sure It's had sooooooo many nerfs over the years it serves very little in pvp outside of being a troll and pve for travel(note this is without heavy mutations) And it's a pain to tame even with the addition of nets Personally bump mana down to 3 and bump 2 and 3 up Also I'm surprise the other titans didn't make the list Forest is a natural tank And Desert while kinda hard to tame is a natural sky fortress And I wonder why Tapejara made honorable mentions I can't think of much uses besides the tek saddle being useful for titan taming
Tell us how you really feel about manas, Raas. 😁 Coming from a purely PVE perspective, I love them. Just because some jerks misuse them doesn't make the mana evil...
Crystal wyverns win by a longshot, early tames, great travel, great metal runners with enough weight, and decent combat capabilities. Rexes are also good because they can take down Crystal wyvern queen
Is that the same modifier that supposedly affects all bosses? Because that has been tested, and it's not a real thing. Creatures do and take normal damage against bosses in single player, the big difference is that your tame creatures are much stronger in SP due to how their stats scale.
