It was good but maybe like top 15 not nearly as good as the rest.I couldn't stand the girl in the movie with the resting b face. She was no Jennifer Love Hewitt who I still want to marry lol....
I love 1990s teen movies. My fav movies are scream, jawbreaker, she’s all that, cruel intentions, never been kissed, 10 things i hate about you, and clueless.
It is great, but so are the other ones. It's not more worthy than the others. As it is I think it was ranked higher than Dazed & Confused, which it should not be.
I WAS UGLY CRYING WHILE WATCHING THAT SCENE WHERE HEATH LEDGER WAS SINGING CANT TAKE MY EYES OFF OF YOU, I JUST REALIZED HOW DESPERATE AND LONGING I AM FOR SOMEONE TO LOVE, TREASURE, AND APPRECIATE ME... I LOVE YOU HEATH, WE LOVE YOU ♡ REST IN PEACE :>
And Cruel Intentions is one of many adaptations of Choderlos de Laclos' Les liaisons dangereuses. There's also 'Dangerous Liaisons' with Meryl Streep, John Malkovich and Uma Thurman, 'Valmont' with Colin Firth, a Korean adaptation 'Untold Scandal' and a Chinese adaptation 'Dangerous Liaisons'
I was obsessed with 75% of these movies. They were all apart of a phase but not even an honorable mention for Bring it on?!? (Or was it not made in the 90's?)
Clueless and 10 Things I Hate About You are truly one of the best 90s teen films... but Drive Me Crazy is my number 1 pick! I could rewatch that movie all day long! Melissa Joan Hart and Adrian Grier are both simply amazing in it! Also, RIP Brittany Murphy🕊💛🙏🏻 RIP Heath Ledger🕊💛🙏🏻
This is the best teen movies of the 90's : 1) Dazed and confused (1993) 2) American Pie (1999) 3) Clueless (1995) 4) Kids (1995) 5) Can't Hardly wait (1995) 6) 10 Things i hate about you (1999) 7) Cruel intentions (1999) 8) Scream (1996) 9) Rushmore (1998) 10) The Virgin Suicides (1999) Honorable mentions : * Pump Up the volumen (1990) * Empire records (1995) * SuBurbia (1996) * Jawbreaker (1999) * Never been Kissed (1999) * Cry - Baby (1990) * Welcome yo the Doll House (1995)
Lol Kids is ranked way too high. But I'd prob agree with the top 5 (with kids taken out entirely) But then theres Scream which would be up there only I don't consider that a teen movie like the others. Suburbia is not exactly a teen movie as its after high school. The teen movies are kids in high-school.
A rather simplistic view....it wasnt that she had glasses and a ponytail...she was poor...standoffish....an art geek and had a different view than the others around her....it wasnt about making her pretty...it was about naking her popular enough to be prom quees...everyone looked at the shallow end of the movie after her makeover...she displayed an unwillingness to fit in...her father's big talk with her was the highlight of that...she felt like she had tontake her mother's place in the family and spurned being a normal high schooler...it was a cliche....pop culture's narrow view made it a cliche
I would say "Drop Dead Gorgeous" is one of my favorites. It made me fall in love with the American culture when I first moved to this country and was beyond funny too ❤
Ooooh Freddie Prince Jr and Ryan Phillipe were fiiine af! I remember I had the hugest crush on them and got so excited when I Know What You Did Last Summer came out haha. And no one could forget Clueless.
Clueless, The Craft, Scream and American Pie are my faves from this list. I've seen most of the movies, mentioned. I should make a list of the ones I still need to see.
10)can’t hardly wait 9)scream 8)the craft 7)she’s all that 6)dazed and confused 5)cruel intentions 4)American pie 3)never been kissed 2)10 things I hate about you 1)clueless
I'm a sophomore in high school right and have seen all but three of these movies. I love watching the teen movies from the 80s and 90s. They are so much better than the crappy teen movies they put out now.
Pump Up The Volume (1990) .....Christian Slater Boys In The Hood (1991) ......Cuba Gooding Jr. Dazed And Confused (1993) ....Matthew McConaughey Heavenly Creatures (1994) ......Kate Winslet Empire Records (1995) .....Robin Tunney Clueless (1995) ......Alicia Silverstone Kids (1995) .....Chloe Sevigny The Basketball Diaries (1995) .....Leonardo DiCaprio Welcome To The Doll House (1995) .....Heather Matarazzo The Craft (1996) .....Neve Campbell
the best movies on that list are retelling of books! Like Clueless is a retelling of Jane Austen's Emma, Cruel Intentions is an adaptation of Laclos's Dangerous Liaisons, and She's all that is Pygmalion....
It's been a year since this video was uploaded, February 22, also, "10 Things I Hate About You'', is my personal favorite, I like very few Teenage\Middle,High School\Young adult films, but I love "Ten Things I Hate About You." I mostly like Biographical films, and historical films.
You guys should watch the show Dawson’s creek on Netflix. I’m absolutely in love with it. I’m also a big fan of 10 things I hate about you, breakfast club, sixteen candles, a walk to remember, clueless and all of the other iconic 90’s movies. But I think Dawson’s creek definitely takes the cake.
Such fantastic teen movies in the 90s, and I wasn't even a teen. Loved most of all of these, a couple of them were overrated like Can't Hardly Wait and She's All That. The rest, perfection.
people talk about growing up in 80's there was a slasher movie every weekend. we teens of the 90's had a teen movie every week. freddie prinze jr, jennifer love hewitt, denise richards, heath ledger, jason biggs, shane west, kirsten dunst, juilia stiles, sarah michelle gellar, josh hartnett, ryan phillipe, katie holmes... etc. good old days
I was a freshman in high school in 97. In the next list..... all the spoof movies that made fun of all these movies. Dazed is BY FAR the best movie on this list. American pie a close 2nd
Watch the others! But yea She's All That I've always loved, watched it in theaters and it was one of my favorite movies. Wouldn't be most guys favorite but ask me if I care.
1990: Pump Up The Volume 1991: Boyz N The Hood 1992: Juice 1993: Dazed & Confused 1994: Little Women 1995: Clueless 1996: Scream 1997: Hurricane Streets 1998: Rushmore 1999: 10 Things I Hate About You

First time ever i watched American Pie when i was in the last year of middle school with bunch of friends boys girls. We just sat there watched those movies and laugh.
90s era was undoubtebly the best beacuse it has got everything well rounded and still going on the cards ...an it will be ever . era but no doubt 80's era was soo good and memorable . 90's music and tv and disney was the neverland for any 90s kids and honorable music 80s was overall very good but overall 90s was top notch for games techs artist movies sports etc just ...... The rom-com was at its pinnacle (Pretty Woman, You've Got Mail), comedies were truly funny (Home Alone, Groundhog Day), critical faves were also crowd-pleasers (Titanic, Forrest Gump), horror films were bone-chilling and realistic (The Silence of the Lambs, Se7en) and teen comedies were having a heyday ..... The 1990s was a decade where pop culture took flight, we all made some Friends, dance moves were born and fast-food got even bigger. Although they ended more than 20 years ago, some of these American icons remain just as relevant today. The 90s were a decade that introduced exciting new technology, some great music, movies, and television, as well as some truly unique fashion trends. ... The 90s were a pivotal period of time in pop culture that we can all look back fondly on (well, for the most part) The '90s were an explosive era for cinema. Big-budget action films dominated the box office and advancements in CGI gave us the first completely computer-animated feature film, "Toy Story," which spawned three successful sequels. I haven't seen most of these and don't have any desire to do. Glad Clueless made list but not #1. Where is Hackers, Airborne, Pleasantville, Romeo and Juliet, The Faculty and Titanic?
10 things I hate about you is a million times better than Clueless. For me it’s the best teen movie ever that I can watch again and again and never get tired of. I couldn’t even finish Clueless!!!
me slidin thru these comments realizing how much 10 things i hate about you meant to teens during that era. As a teen of this era i must say it means alot to me n in pretty sure others too. I see why they made it into a show exactly ten years later
At least 90s movies have better staying power than movies from prior decades. The fashion and music and movie tropes aren't as cringey as some movies from the 70s and 80s can be. At least from the mid-90s on, the early 90s doesn't have great fashion.
Childhood ruined at 9:22 "Homework, read pages 112-142" , read 30 pages instead of playing with my Playstation 1 :( this will give me nightmares tonight
My favorite movie is clueless and cher and josh are so adorable together and it's really great movie july 19 1995😃😃🙂🙂😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😘😘😘😎😎😎😎☺☺☺☺☺☺💗💗💗💗💙💙💙💙💙💙💚💚💚💚💚💛💛💛💛💛🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡💘💘💘💘💘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💝💝💝💝💝💞💞💝💝💝💞💞💞💟💟💟💟
