Just one observation about Project life Cycle: The generic life cycle structure is often referred to when communicating with upper management or other entities less familiar with the details of the project. It should not be confused with the Project Management Process Groups, because the processes in a Process Group consist of activities that may be performed and recur within each phase of a project as well as for the project as a whole. Thanks Jennifer. It would definitely help aspiring PMs to keep these in mind. Just one observation - Higher body or authority for PMs should be PMO (Project Management Office) for project approvals and not CCB. In my opinion, CCB is part of Product Lifecycle Management for carrying out Hardware + Software changes.
Thank you, Jennifer for a fantastic presentation on the 10 Terms Used by Project Managers. The content was logical and reasonable. Being familiar with these terms is beneficial, especially for new project managers. Thank you. Very beneficial for both job applications and our college course.
Hey Jennifer, what a great video for project management course students! I find a lot of them have trouble with the risk mitigation. This is a must watch for pgm's
The triple constraint is time, cost and quality. scope is one of the attributes of quality. When a PM considers all quality aspects as part of the scope, you can use scope interchangeably with quality, but quite a few PMs drop certain necessary quality attributes in order to make the scope of the project on time within approved costs. And then claim success.
I would argue that scope is in fact attached to all three aspects of the triple constraint. Scope defines the overall size of the Triple Constraint Triangle...1. The bigger the Scope, the more Cost that will be incurred; 2. The bigger the scope, the greater the time it will take to complete the project; 3. The bigger the scope, the more the Quality attributes that will need to be satisfied in the project.
This is great! I read PM book but now after this video it all came at the right place. You just explained everything that was bothering me while I was reading. Thanks❤

Thanks for an awesome presentation Jennifer on the 10 Ten Terms that Project Managers Use. I found the information presented was logical and clear. Well done!
I am deeply interested in this presentation. I got interest in learning project proposal wring because i am an implementer. i get things done in time. I am following your presentation. in advancing my understanding. Thanks
Thank you Jeniffer for sharing this with us. That was a very interesting back to basics. I liked that term Change Management as a core knowledge for a PM to control the project constraints (in your case the example with scope). About Project Risk Management, it is more than a plan. In fact Risk Mitigation is part of the Project Risk Management Response Planning process.
Lovely video content! Forgive me for chiming in, I am interested in your thoughts. Have you thought about - Weydaniel Organized Dominator (do a google search)? It is an awesome exclusive product for getting 7000 plus project management and business templates minus the headache. Ive heard some super things about it and my m8 at last got astronomical success with it.
Remember, project life cycle and project management processes are different. Project life cycle is explained here as the project management processes and that is wrong.

Very valuable information just the white board is not clear. Not only you are providing 10 terms in PM but also the importance and explanation for these terms. Thanks.
Working in engr/mfg my best strategy for proj mgmt is expect 100% failure at every task then do other people's job. Curse/strength of an engr doing this role is the assumption/ability to be smart enough to do it all. Just the motivation is sometimes lacking. BTW. Great video. Motivating!
Excellent video for actual project managers position or to be used in PM training, I dare to propose that Continuos Improvement can be added as a tool, maybe under de Change management category. Thanks

If you noticed, she stays in one area so the viewer’s eyes stay in just one line of vision - from the speaker to the visual aid. This also eliminates too much movement that may distract and derail viewers. If you have been keen at observing movies and TV series, shots from scenes normally require limited and controlled movements from actors. This allows the viewer to focus on the story, dialogue, and nuances of facial expression. That’s one big difference between acting on film vs acting on a stage where movements are supposed to be big and exaggerated because the stage/frame is so big. Hope this helps.
