I'll always love the experimental trilogy, with Knight of Cups being my favorite of the three, and not to mention that it's my favorite film from Malick
I've only seen the Tree of Life and the Thine Red line (Thine Red line is in my top 50). However, Tree of Life at #5 is just criminal. THAT movie is a top 5 film of all time.
@@etvconnect might want to reword the title. It just sounds funny saying top 10 of all time when he only has 10 films. Also in my opinion Song to Song was my favourite Malick film. I just loved how scenes floated together to tell a story without actually telling you a linear story. It reminded me of how our memories and experiences melt together to give you your version of your life.
"Days of Heaven" is an awesome film. It reveals a historic period that doesn't get much exposure or explanation ... post WW1 immigrants, aviation, poverty.
Sounds like he is a straight up freak! Holds millions of dollars hostage to editing , even keeping actors who spent actual years on set with him from getting paid a dime and movie viewers several years past production when some of the greatest of our time, just as one example , Stephen Spielberg are some how able to mostly keep on track and still produce masterpieces that effect our whole lives?!!!!?!!!

Knight of Cups was garbage and I think Christian Bale is amazing. I can appreciate his artistic endeavors but it doesn't always translate well to film.
@@etvconnect I'm confused now. You did mention Voyage of Time 4:29 . Including that he's directed 10 movies. 11th one about jesus is still in production last I heard.
Sorry, my bad! There are two feature films: "Voyage of Time: Life Journey" and "Voyage of Time: The IMAX Experience". The last is a shortened, IMAX-optimized version of "Voyage of Time: Life Journey" and has its own ratings. But there is indeed no point to add in the video :-) So, theoretically there are 11 feature films under his direction but two of them are VERY similar :D
