I think a great one is season one episode 15 Sheldon make friends with a girl who’s passion is geology and I think he started develops a crush on her but at the end she said she’s babysitting lots of kids when she was trying to convince Mom to let her drive him and his other friend, Tam to a movie it hurts his feelings and makes him very sad that she thinks it was a kid and not an equal and that’s when he decides that geology isn’t a science which Sheldon displays his apathy and emotion towards the topic in various episodes of big bang theory

The order could literally not be more perfect. Leonard first, Sheldon's best friend. Then Penny, Leonards wife. Then Raj, remembering Penny was the first girl he could actually talk to. Then Howard, Raj's best friend. Then Bernadette. Howards wife. Finally Amy, Sheldons future wife. And then back to Sheldon. You know, I bet for once Sheldon was happy he was wrong about something.

The thought that Sheldon sings "Soft Kitty" to his kids when they are sick (because of course he would obviously) literally makes me tear up and makes me wish we could see a glimpse at the TBBT gang all as parents and what the new dynamics are. Based on his vo on young Sheldon he sounds like a great dad and husband

That’s true, but Sheldon has little patience for people so I’d imagine he wouldn’t see it the same way. And I feel he was more Missy’s friend than he was Sheldon’s. I also think Sheldon can hold a super long grudge.

It's more likely that Sheldon associates Penny with germs because she's messy and does things like touch food on his plate and not use Purell. And she got him sick once when he hugged her and she breathed germs into his ear.

I loved that they cast Zoe Perry as Mary in Young Sheldon when her real life mother Laurie Metcalf plays Mary in TBBT and they both got a chance to sing "Soft Kitty".

I personally do think they should all get a solo spin-off. But would Young Sheldon or The Big Bang Theory fans be interesting on watching? I don’t think they’ll ever end up doing any spin-off to the other Bing Bang Theory characters.

I wanna pitch the idea of a special mini series. Just one season, & each episode being on the childhood of our main cast. Leonard's relation with his mom & siblings Penny growing up in the farm with family Howard's dad leaving & bond with his mom Amy being a girl, passionate about science Raj's luxurious yet really lonely life in India Bernadette being a young pageant queen Maybe even 2 episodes of Stuart & Emily. I would so like to know what made them how they are now... Now tell me, doesn't this sound like a *perfect* tbbt spinoff mini series? Not overdoing anything, not being too much, just perfect amount of content we all would love to see.

In the Young Sheldon episode where he was being bullied, his father George Cooper actually said that he was a bully when he was younger. I immediately got a callback to the Big Bang Theory episode where Lance Barber aka Jimmy Speckerman apologized for bullying Johnny Galecki’s character Leonard Hofstadter, and then the next morning, Jimmy was bullying Leonard again.

For number 6 at 4:59 in season seven when Sheldon comes back from Germany you see a clip that actually relates to what he said in Big Bang theory SPOILER It was his mom in a costume with his dad and he walked in at the wrong moment and he said, “ that’s why I always knock 4 times on a door”

I wasn't really emotional about the series finale of The Big Bang Theory until I saw the season finale of young Sheldon right after. I felt so bad for him and the music that accompanied the Montage of the younger characters was perfect.

The problem with "the spot" in YS is that in high school, no one would ever honor his "ownership" of a spot at the cafeteria table. If anything it would end up getting him bullied. In TBBT, the friends put up with him because the simply want to avoid the continual harassment that would occur if they didn't.

What I loved so much about the scene with their younger selves is the fact that there were six empty chairs with Sheldon. Six empty chairs for the six people that were gonna become his best friends when he’s an adult.

4:56 here they were actually referencing a scene in s7 where Mary is wearing a German outfit and calling herself helga as a gift when she came home from Germany and than Sheldon walks in without either of them noticing and is shocked as Mary says “will your wife come home?” But before the show starts it is known that George did cheat on Mary with a different woman though. In the end he was referencing that scene not what happened before the show

Uhm, hello, what about when his mom mentions the fact that he tried to build a nuclear reactor to power the neighborhood and then it actually happens in the prequel where he gets a bunch of old smoke detectors to take the stuff out of build a nuclear reactor out of it. Not sure if this is correct, but the "HA'!" when Sheldon tried to find the acoustic sweet spot is shown when the church congregation threw a shade on them and made them Mary uncomfortable and left the church in haste. At the time Sheldon stormed back inside to call out it hypocrisy, and also told how to pronounce Nebuchadnezzar properly, with a strong "Ha!" from the back of the throat.

Ok I found a mistake; the three knocks came from Sheldon walking in on his mom, (dressed in a traditional German Dirndl Dress, after Sheldon and his mom returned from Germany) and his father having relations. Not another woman.

My gavorite is soft kitty which is nearly tied with seeing hid future friends from TBBT. But now that season seven is almost done, episode four shows Sheldon coming home, and entering his parents room where he thinks he see George with another woman but it is just Mary roleplaying as Helga, a German woman. A great revision of George Sr for fans; but, sadly Sheldon will never know.

Sheldon's three knock habit is a continuity error for multiple reasons. In early episodes of season one Sheldon knocks four times, and in the flashback episode that showed how Leonard and Sheldon met, Sheldon knocked once on Leonard's door, Leonard tried to ignore him, and Sheldon said "I'm just gonna keep knocking til you answer.", and Leonard finally answered when Sheldon knocked three times, which cemented three knocks in Sheldon's mind as the way to get people to answer the door.
