*The Police have such a 'clean' sound. But I suppose a lot of that has to do with meticulous recording production.* They are all great musicians in their own right but Stewart Copeland's wizardry on the drums/cymbals is just so 'crisp'. He's gotta be one of the fastest drummers on earth. I miss them (as a band). 😞

Unpopular opinion: I wasn't too much of a fan of the Police's reggae-heavy style stuff. :/ I don't mind some elements like in "Don't Stand so Close" and "Everything she does" but the ones that are more reggae don't do anything for me.

Every little thing she does is magic is #1. You gotta hand it to this band. Some of their songs were dark as hell, but they still manage to make the songs upbeat and danceable. I love how often couples will play "Every Breath you take" at their wedding receptions. ha ha ha
