hi ! Dr. Hansen , again i want to thank you for all this intelligent, and educational videos, i learning so much when ever i listen to you. please keep me update on your next video. bless you and please stay safe.
It was therapeutic that he acknowledged the extraneous grief when family can’t attend the passing of a loved one. The stress from it can tear a family apart as was the case for me. Blessings to all medical and hospital staff who are there when we cannot. Right down to housekeepers , maintenance and techs
My best friend in the whole world just got put on a ventilator today. She has a daughter that was born on the 12th. I wish I could hold her and tell her everything will be ok. She turned 30 in March. Please pray for her. We need her here.
Not good. Her mom asks me to respect her privacy and to not put details on social media. All I can say is if you do your research and look at worst case scenario for having Covid and being put on a vent, its happening to my BFF. If anyone sees this please continue prayers.
@@emilybrooks8763 well my husband survived after 4 weeks of intubation. So if your friend's health is otherwise good, I mean if she is not obese, not a diabetic, doesn't have high blood pressure I bet she has pretty good chances of making it. I hope that will be the case.
0:37 - #10. Signs and symptoms: More common (fever, cough, shortness of breath, body and muscle aches, and confusion), less common (loss of taste and smell, nausea, diarrhea, rash) 1:08 - #9. Low Vitamin D levels 2:12 - #8. This virus is very contagious 3:51 - #7. Patients will feel extreme loneliness (because of number 8!) 4:09 - #6. Treatment: No ultimate treatment is available, however one or more of the followings may be administered: Remdesivir, Convalescent Plasma, Dexamethasone, Therapeutic Doses of blood thinners to avoid blood cloths (Anticoagulation), such as: Lovenox (Enoxamarin, if the patient's kidneys are functioning OK), and Heparin (for damaged kidneys). 6:59 - #5. Testing: It's a guessing game at this point as PCR testing may give false positive (picking up inactive/dead viral RNAs) 7:32 - #4. High BMIs (Body Mass Indexes): Most patients ending up in ICUs are obese or morbidly obese, due to difficulty breathing (e.g., having sleep apnea). 9:03 - #3. Mechanical ventilation: This requires a breathing tube down the patient's throat or performing tracheostomy (puncturing the patient's neck to place a tube into a person's windpipe) and it's unclear who requires. There is no direct correlation between the patient's oxygen levels and needing a mechanical ventilation. 11:01 - #2. Recovery: It depends on the extent of the lung damage due to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) due to viral pneumonia or because of inflammation, some may require a couple of days to recover while some may require weeks or months to recover. Some extensive lung damage can be permanent. 13:51 - #1. Unpredictability and variability: So many factors and issues are still unknown about COVID-19. To listen to see some of the unanswered questions, please check 14:00 onward.
I am sitting in my hospital room, hoping I am being discharged today. Correlation DOESNT mean causation. I came close 3 times to being put on a ventilator. I am truly blessed to be here, in the moment. Please protect one another.
I have work 25 years in the nursing field I was sent to a lot of times I work for the agency and a traveling nurse sent to psychiatric unit at 1 I did not last 6 months only I don't know but something's telling me I don't like it there it's kind of like 18 scary papers all the patience is that you don't know what's going to happen and they follow you and they stare at you I didn't know I got chickened out. But what I love the most is taking care of the seniors no matter how old they are no matter what the condition is and I took care of AIDS patients cancer patients and most of all all my gosh my heart goes to all these kids the oldest is 26 Del testic children in California I handle six of them not a joke that's a handful but I love doing it the right now I can't say I'm done because you know my body still have to work my body still the same it's just my age is 66 and I'm legally blind that's the only thing if I can get my eye back my eyesight back I think the other one that was shut down I will go back to work and give my time and I enjoy working in the Pediatric Nursery I love kiss my mom had 15 I had three but I had nine grandkids thank you doctor for your time thank you for your sharing all this incredible literature but you're sharing to all of us I like it because I just listen to you if I I don't watch television anymore it's so hard for me to see so grateful and appreciate everything you do so take good care of yourself and have a blessed day
My brother Michael died of the virus. He became sick beginning of April, hospitalised on 4th, and passed away on 9th April. He was kind, gentle and the best of us. No chance to say goodbye or tell him he was loved and appreciated.... RIP my lovely brother.
Try to stay calm and think about the best memories of him. We humans are powerless most of the time. My girlfriend got covid on 2days ago. She's been hospitalized. I can't see her, visit her, feeling powerless and weak. I'm praying for her. I know she's a mentally strong girl. I didn't feel the pain of others who are going through this trauma, now I do. I'm feeling like me being changed person.
My mom is covid+ve n is hospitalized. Haven't seen her since 15 days😭 Her oxygen levels had dropped to 78. Now its ok acc to dr.she has moderate covid. She is diabetic n also a heart disease.Hope she gets well soon
My sister 37 is in ICU RIGHT NOW on a ventilator and she’s been fighting a kidney disease for the last 14 years! Any studies I can suggest to her doctors doc?! And all other readers please pray!!! Thanks in advance!
I hope she is doing well 🙏 My mom is in ICU too right now on a non invasive ventilator but possibly will use mechanical ventilator. I hope your sister and my mom will be survived.
How are all going? My Mom didn't make it, she passed away because of failed intubation process. Her hearbeat was stopped and CPR was failed due to very low oxygen saturation :(
My sincere sympathies go to all those who lost a loved one to this horrible illness, and to all those who are struggling with a loved-one who's alone and hospitalized. Stay safe, and cover your face everyone!
They could place them in PPE suits and let a patient have vistors I mean its family for crying out loud, they would want to be seen if was them in those places. My mom was in ICU a few years ago before she died and they let us in then to see her but before we went in to see her we had to put on the proper PPE like gowns, mask, and gloves. then when we left we had to dispose of the PPE in the proper locations and wash our hands
My husband is booked for surgery for an ongoing case of sepsis on Tuesday 7 July and the hospital has a zero visitors policy in place. This will be the first surgery I can't be there for. It has us both really stressed out.
Yep... My mom died alone in Easter weekend from covid... We could only do a video chat and she was not doing any chatting... She looked terrible and could only blink her eyes to respond... Friday night before she died on Saturday...I called and the nurse held the phone to her ear and I said what I needed to say... No response just the mechanical sound off the respirator...I believe she heard me.... But she was alone for 7 days... Just 7 days it took for her to die ... This is a terrible thing attacking humanity. Be safe.
My sympathies, my mother, Barbara went through the same. Admitted May 7, died May 16. Couldn't visit. FaceTime and the conversation was us talking to her. She could not respond. Thank God the nurse, Lori, was by her side throughout the night until she died. I am thankful someone was there, but bitter that I could not. More bitter that a 9 time convicted criminal could have 4 memorials with thousands present and I couldn't even have a funeral Mass with family.
My husband had it and survived. I took care of him. Lots of vitamin D, C and Elderberry. I sealed his door off and prayed. Thank you for all of your great information.
Pray for recovery. My mom went to the hospital for another condition and caught the flu while in the hospital. With her age (mid 80s, and underlying conditions the prognosis did not look good. I prayed often day and night that God would let her come back home and miraculously He did honor the prayers. Hallelujah!
P. S. My Dad is also a doctor and I realise I am not the only one who has got a need to stress that out as well as the feeling that you are true heroes. Together with devoted nurses (my mum). 🙃🙏
I was put on ventilator in March 2021 in induced comma for 40 days plus 10 days on tracky. Stayed in ICU for 55 days. Then 3 weeks in normal ward & 2 weeks in Rehabilitation where i learnt how to walk again & do my everyday activities. I am very blessed to be given second life. Thanks to God Almighty & NHS dr's & Nurses. Please appreciate your life. Its very fragile.

As a nurse, I would hazard a guess that a physician carried it from one patient to the next. They are notorious for poor hand hygiene between patients. I've been seeing if for 20 years.
Thank you for taking the time to tell what you are seeing, I can't understand why it is going up with the heat and I am fighting with all my family about not going out and wearing a mask especially my mother who should know better because she is a retired Nurse.
Thank you.🦠 Very helpful. Overall presentation is very pleasant to listen to - your voice and calm demeanor helps also. Thank you for all that you are doing for the humanity. Greatly appreciate all of your care. Stay safe and well.👍
You need to be the speaker for the CDC... because of your covid briefing I was able to understand my blood work after COVID-19, my own DR was lost!!! He put me on so many meds cause of my blood work, 2.5 months later still no taste no smell and I still get twitching in my head... this virus recks Havoc in your mind body and soul... Much thanks to you DR... May your lord continue to bless you w/wisdom and patience!!! Stay healthy and safe beloved
Get your blood levels of vitamin D checked to make sure you're in the optimal range, not the minimal levels. Take 5,000 mgs vitamin C daily in divided doses, also zinc and resveratrol.
patients should be tested for every nutrient, there are hints that selenium, zinc or iodine may help with covid19. there are studys showing that these minerals have impact on other viral infections. Likely the body uses up many different minerals to fight viral infections in general. Also many of the mineral deficiencys have depression as a symptom. And i am not a big fan of supplements except vitamin D. I would go instead for nutrient rich foods like bone-broth, seaweed, greens, liver, salmon, oysters, shrimps and so on.
🙄 I don’t have to prove anything to you. Just like I don’t expect you to understand what it’s like to work in a hospital filled with covid. Sacrificing my life because of people like you who are ignorant and don’t believe covid is real. Have a good day!
And he is so handsome, and the fact that he is treating all the covid19 patients makes me respect him even more😍this doctor is so kind hearted, let's all keep him in our prayers and i really wish the angel and god will protect this doctor and give him the fame he deserve💓
I'm an international disaster response nurse and was in Italy for 34 days in a field hospital caring for Covid patients. We had an ICU tent with vents, and we had to constantly change ET tubes because of clotting/gunk build up. What was surprising was we had to be very very careful the amount of O2 we used for patients- too much, blew their lungs, so we used JUST ENOUGH to get their Spo2 to a decent level.
@@jacobtaylor4258 shortness of breath while climbing stairs is not sleep apnea mate. Don't give advice when you don't have a clue please. Shortness of breath while climbing stairs without knowing the patient history could be due to a number of issues. -Being generally unfit where your muscles require more oxygen consumption for the same workload -Can have an existing pulmonary condition that can decrease oxygen supply to the lungs ie emphysema, pulmonary fibrosis or cystic fibrosis -can have chronic congestive heart failure where the heart is unable to pump enough blood to around the body to supply your cells with oxygen causing a increased work of breathing to compensate. Sleep apnea only occurs during sleep. It doesn't cause shortness of breath while you're awake buddy.

Years ago I read about vit D, and I told my doctor, only then he prescribed it, first he ordered a blood test, I was deficient, same with colon cancer and colonoscopy, I read about recommended age, over 50, I told my doctor, then he ordered. He should give me a cut of my insurance payments
@@maryannemckay3606 I've had to diagnose myself, when no one knew what was wrong with me. I have found that I need doctors who will listen. At least your doctor is listening. I had a couple of MDs tell me it was 'impossible' that I had the illness I went to them to attempt to rule out. There was one doctor who decides to accuse me of being a pill popper, when the only time I ever received pain medication was before, and a short time after I had to have surgery. I disproved him, of course, but I will never forget what that felt like. I have since found a dream team of physicians that I will NOT let go!!!
My sister does have symptoms of COVID-19 and this video really helps her a lot she was exposed to the virus because she's a front liner for those who have friends and family do have symptoms please watch this video @t. Stay at home and be safe everyone.

Dr. Hansen: You are a young and brilliant doctor and an expert pulmonogist. I have never seen a video before in RU-vid like yours explaining the complexities involved in treating Corona victims. I lost my cousin brother a few weeks ago (admitted on August 4th and gone forever on 19th aged 59 who was otherwise healthy) and I could not even have a last glimpse of his face. Trying to understand and searching for why some victims are meeting the unfortunate end at an unbelievable speed lead to your video.
Thanks for your hard worker doc. Life is crazy one minute the country is doing amazingly in all was the next minute a random virus spreads around the world and really sets us back. So heart breaking thinking of family dying alone.
I've started supplementing with a high quality fish oil and vitamin D3 every day along with drinking a lot of water because I work in a hospital and have encountered patients with covid. Please, to my colleagues working in medicine and healthcare, everyone stay safe.😔
@leila lalala We were recently given goggles to wear at work. Before that, PPE was low or nonexistent. I went to a class where I made PPE out of craft supplies for people working in the emergency room and ICU a few months back.

Hey Mike, hope all is well! I've been doing a bit of research on the effects of Zinc deficiency in elderly and the repercussions on immume response and cell reproduction! I dn't know if you have any information regards to this but would love to hear from you. Anyways just sharing my thoughts I'm making no claims ect. Just noticed the vital role of zinc and was curious about the effects of deficiency in immunity response. Hope all is well and good. 😊😊
It more and more seems to me that has to be the case...or something like it. There is obviously a wide difference between most normal COVID cases that don't even result in hospitalizations or severe symptoms. Then there are these very severe cases where the mortality rate is exponentially higher. There is something (comorbidity, genetic variants)l that we haven't quite figured out yet since this is a novel viral strain. But the wide discrepancies in experience of the virus and the hospitalization/death statistics mean something distinguishes the rarer and more severe type.
Thank you!!! I wish that more people were as gracious, grateful and understanding as you!!! RN here… (I wonder how many COVID-19 patients that I will have tonight when I go to work…)
@@harleygirl7547 its lovely that people are recognizing cleaners for their hard work they have been a very crucial part of the work force against covid and often get forgotten about.
I see lots of cases (as an ambulance driver) Sometimes the differences in the course of the disease are probably involved with the amount patients used to smoke and drink. Wreck your body and the disease will finish off the job.
Maybe. The French have identified an anomaly in smokers that limits the effectiveness of the disease to infect lungs because of the nicotine content. Look it up.
Thank you for your work as a responder...respectfully, I'm curious what you are seeing in terms of the Covid patients you are transporting, as far as obesity. I keep seeing news stories in which they will say "perfectly healthy young man dies of Covid" but in the picture they show of the deceased the person is anywhere from 50 to 100 or more pounds overweight. In fact, I saw a picture of a tragic case yesterday in which a 17 year old young man died, but he was quite clearly morbidly obese, but yet was being described as totally healthy in every way. I mean this as no disrespect to those struggling with weight issues, I am just curious if metabolic disorders seem to truly play a part of the "typical" Covid patient that you would see in the ambulance. Or, in your experience, is there no "typical" and people of all shapes and sizes are hospitalized equally...?
Thanks for the most amazing factual information. I am just recovering from Covid. Symptoms were fatigue, chills, sore throat and then days and days of coughing (with phlegm). Still in self isolation here but the cough is improving each day and I feel so thankful that it is not worse. I do supplement with 3000 IU of Vitamin D daily as well as Magnesium and a multi. Interesting that so far, everyone is my house tested negative and has no symptoms, except for me. Five more days of self-isolation to go. Public health and I were unable to track down the source of the virus. I was taking all the precautions and couldn't go out much due to a broken ankle so had limited exposure to the world.
do not take any cough supprecent. its important that you keep coughing to rid the phlegm. if your chest hurts from coughing apply a hot water bottle to your sternum. drink plenty of lemon water to keep your stomach acid level high. it kills alot of bad bacteria. also try some probiotics to strengthen your immunity. get well soon!
Are you ok? I hope you have a strong support system around you. The fact that you are not only treating these patients but then taking the time to try and educate the world, Thank you! Your a true hero! Stay safe ❤️
I heard remdesivir was effective months ago, long before this video... this gives a whole new light of truth on my source since february. I love this channel.
Doesn't make much difference (for somebody who lives in UK at list or in similar climate) vit D is produced only within certain time window of the day and when larger areas of your body are exposed like your back or belly and chest. Roaming around dressed up does nothing. Skin colour makes difference also. I try to keep my vit D level over 40 and according to my experience 30 is already deficiency not even talking about 20.
Point #4 about tweaking the breathing machine, ventilator, for each individual patient is vitally important! And, I know this because my son was in ICU with an extremely severe asthma episode and his breathing machine wasn’t correct and it was working against him! It was horrible. The hospital he was in is now connected and part of a larger UNIVERSITY hospital in the next state. So OUR hospital got the Main hospital on the TV right, in the room so they could see, in REAL TIME, what was going on with my son’s Ventilator! The docs from there help the hospital my son was in get the ventilation dials correct! Plus, We are not a small city whatsoever. We just don’t have great healthcare here, honestly. I sent this video and told my son to watch at nine minutes in, because he doesn’t even know that that happened. I told him about it in the text how scary it was, an ALL THE DETAILS! I’m grateful he’s with us here today, at 36 years old! I’m 61 and I am being extremely careful. I’ve hardly been out anywhere! And I wasn’t anywhere until was even allowed in well after that! I can’t mess around! None of us can mess around! We of course, ALL wear masks. We all have hand sanitizers on us at all times, when out. We wash 🧼 our HANDS well, very well, the minute we get in the door from being anywhere, if we MUST go out. We are praying that we are, our family stay safe! And I pray that people heed our physicians warnings, and helpful suggestions! Thank you so much for doing this video, and for all your videos! You are easy to understand you speak in language we can grasp, just everything! ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻 💥💥Your channel is great! thank you!💥💥
Christine P thank-you! He has one of those breathing gadgets that you get when you’re in the hospital. I can’t remember what they’re called, I think it starts with S, but I’m 👵🏻. 💥
my first time to your channel. informative, substantiated, clear ... and a touch of humility - admitting what we don't know - and respect for the mysteries of CoronaVirus. Im sure you are a very busy doctor so Thank you for your service !
One thing I've learned about all illness is that low vit D is the most common denominator with regards to morbidity. Just eat real food and take your vitamins. Supplements are critical in the modern day. Exercise every day!
Santiago Castro they don’t need to do air samples they have proven that simple talking to each other spreads the disease, Wear a mask and socially distance,
@@DakotaCrossed and also the "virus" cannot remain live over 70 degrees, but our HOT states FL, TX etc are showing high rate of recurring! huh? Any true science that disputes what PHARMA owned media will "report" will be because this is such a weird flu, so different. SO FAUX. This country - globe - is being fast tracked into military communism, while people stop looking and think BOTH SIDES OF STORY. No logic. No thinking at all. Stay in? Masks? BLM HAD TO HAPPEN TO MAKE THIS NEW SWARM HAPPEN. omg. couldn't have planned it any better unless all those who are making BILLIONS, all agreed
Eric Jackson Scientific studies of relative mask effectiveness are as close as your keyboard. Google “Florida Atlantic College of Engineering mask study.” Of course every variation of personal protective devices with every iteration of safe behavior hasn’t been investigated, but people are trying. You can also go to two or more reputable fact checking sites to see how reliable the stories are that mask- wearing is toxic, etc. The Covid research is still in the early stages but the drivel people want to believe is appalling as is the level of critical thinking exhibited by the majority of RU-vid commenters. I urge you to dig deeper, try to resist confirmation bias, familiarize yourself with tip-offs to bogus research, and reach informed conclusions about how you can best keep yourself and your neighbors safe. Good luck.
This is one of the most frightening and horrific things I've heard, thank you for sharing. Do all of your patient's viral loads go to zero? If it's neuroinvasive and infects the CNS does that mean it becomes chronic? I'm going to start looking for my pulse oximeter and add it to my medicine bag along with the thermometer now. Being chronically oxygen deprived and not even knowing it, in addition to breathing complications being my #1 complaint about any type of illness, and it's neuroinvasive. At least it's not hemorrhagic?
Do masks not restrict oxygen inhalation. You say wear masks and here school children are forced to wear cloth mask. Its a real concern that they are breathing in carbon dioxide for 7 hours a day and being deprived of oxygen. Surely a big health hazard?
Thank you, this is so helpful! We can handle the truth, we just don’t get enough information from the government. Knowledge empowers patients and their advocates.
I’m a hospital nurse in PA. Some of my coworkers and I have been working on making advanced directives for ourselves but we often come back to the question of whether we should make a separate set for the context of COVID and a different set for the rest of life’s possibilities. Can you offer any suggestions or considerations for making advanced directives while considering COVID-19 infection?
Yep same. We all need to stay away from our mates atm and family even. I know it’s hard but we have to do it and only go out to work and get essentials, exercise etc but not to socialise. We are all lucky we have the Net n face time etc now days so we can always stay intouhh chi via webcam, FaceTime, text, email, phone calls etc etc.
No government has the power or right to encroach the rights of its citizens when it comes to people choosing if to take the covid-19 vaccine or not. So, BLP, tread care fully.
I nominate you as doctor of the year 😁 How do you have time to do these videos and go to work 12 hours a day, read medical journals, be on call, visit patients, etc. I’m assuming you probably get 4 hours of sleep. Thank you for being very informative about this scary virus. The bottom line is for everyone to participate and protect themselves and everyone around them. Wash hands and wear your mask! Keep extra mask in your car, pocket, purse, work wherever! Better to be safe than sorry or dead!
It have to do alot with that plus with the skin, as we know out gut have alot of bacteria(good one if we eat good and bad ones if we eat bad) same applies for the skin, skin haves bacterias too those bacterias helps us to convert the d2 into d3 and them into calcitriol( useable form of vitamin D) or bioactive so called, so food also is needed for those bacterias if theres more bad on the skin then good its most likely u will not absorbe the d2 in the first place, then kidneys and liver plays huge role in converting d3 into calcitriol, if they dont work properly even if u supplement it will be hard to get enought d3 to be converted so, the safest bet is to clean ur diet from junk, sugar, sodas, fiberless carbs, alcohols, trans and saturated fats, and eat clean whole food plantbased or not plant based diet deppends on your prefrences, if ur getting packed food and theres more then 5 ingredients dont buy it and in the start get blood panel that shows ur 25(OH)D levels (D3) if they are low starts supplementing but clean ur diet while u do that u will get healtier anyway
Sarsha6 - Yes, why is that a surprise? People are so brainwashed by modern lifestyle that they think staying indoors all day long during the summer is normal! The first thing that they think of about the sun is “skin cancer!” And they load themselves up with sunscreen when going out to the beach on vacation. Some think they can get enough sun while driving home from work with their window up. Lol. it goes on and on! Brainwashed! The less sun they have the sicker they are. And big pharmaceutical companies step in to relive these symptoms of deficient vitamin D such as Hypertension, heart diseases, obesity, viral infection, depressions, dementia, Alzheimer and many more. Big pharmaceutical companies will be glad for these people to depend on their drugs for the rest of their life not knowing that simply exposing themselves to the sun for a few minutes everyday will cure most of their symptoms!
Dr. In San Antonio our pulmonologist are not using ventilator but instead an ECMO machine saying it has better results because it’s not damaging the already fragile lung tissue like a ventilator and it’s providing higher quality oxygen to the rest of the body’s organs. They also add that it’s a much quicker and less invasive process for the patient. What are your thoughts on this?
Cameron, Do you know whether there is any difference in how much money the hospital gets paid (especially by the government) for either treatment? That could influence the decision. Doctors are responsible for helping patients survive, but the hospital executives they work for are responsible for the survival of the hospitals themselves. If the hospitals fail, there will be nowhere for the doctors to treat the patients. Very messy situation with conflicting priorities.
Cameron: ECMO is a form of life support that is seen as a last resort, a step beyond being on a ventilator. It's offered when being on the ventilator is not enough to support the function of your heart and lungs. Doing ECMO on a large scale is not possible. Most hospitals do not have the capacity to do it, and the hospitals that have it (like Methodist hospital in SA) only have a couple beds. Also ECMO can have some very serious side effects including major bleeding and blood clots.
Life Prescription oh I had no idea. I seen something about the blood being taking out and placing back in. Not sure what the scientific words are or medical terms but they mentioned it gets cleaned and returned with oxygen. That’s a report I saw that they are saying is much more effective for some instead of using a ventilator. Bc the dr said a ventilator causes more harm Bc it’s pumping more oxygen to n already weaken lung(s).
Thank you for the enlightenment. The use of remvisitir as treatment for covid patients created a controversy here in the Philippines. The Congress battled for the availability of it's use. God bless doc!
David, they don't want to believe this. The medical establishment is heavily invested in vaccine development and they're waiting for huge profits. The HCQ trials were deliberately sabotaged by administration of extremely high amounts to people who were already dying. Look into Dr Vladimir Zelenko.
Know what else works and is even less expensive? The amino acid L Lysine. Just 500 mgs in the morning and 1,500 in the afternoon. More for larger people, up to 4,000 mgs daily. Coffee and caffeine consumption needs to stop. And of course, take zinc.
Italian doctors used this with great success. So has a Jewish doctor in NYC. Hydroxycloriquine is very cheap...no money in it for big Pharma here. Always follow the money.
@@judythompson1559 I find it extremely disturbing how all of these doctors do not use hydroxychloroquine and zinc as early as possible to treat the virus. They have known that it works since the beginning of this pandemic if it even is a pandemic.
I agree Mike. Trump touted the Hydroxychloroquin and Zinc regimen saying it had shown to produced good results so therefore they are withholding using it widely. It’s criminal in my view. I would demand it from my doctor.
Really informative video. My aunt who is 99 years old and is in a home but healthy and lucid, tested positive for Covid. Despite only having mild flu symptoms she was put into the home's hospital and put on a drip containing vitamin D and various other medications. She has recovered within one week and feels back to normal. Although no health issues, she has always caught cold viruses and had flu as well many times. There is a theory that people who have had a lot of Coronavirus type viruses during their lifetime, retain the T cells that are actually helpful in this new Coronavirus. The doctors were telling our family that she would probably die but she hasn't. She lives in Hungary where my family are from. Her grandfather actually lived until he was 108 years old. Anyways, keep up the good work. I admire your clear communication and have learnt a lot of useful facts from your videos. 👌
Take vitamin d from the Sun.. Don't buy in cheap supermarket that's made in China mostly it don't work.. Mostly 99 percent selling is made in China.. Be careful..
I had covid and got it pretty badly, took vitamin D3 plus vitamin C and zinc. Im sure my vitamin d3 levels were low. Will continue to take them for a few months.
Do older people have more severe cases because they typically have more co-morbidities? Would a healthy older person have a greater chance of getting severe case than a younger person?

What I want to know is why videos like this have a a couple tens of thousands of views while conspiracy theory videos that deny covid-19's existence have view counts 10 times as high.
No one realistically denies Covid is real; it's the fact that Mainstream Media keeps raising how many haved died, even though doctors report much much less. There is a lot of disinformation because the Democrats want to win no matter what Truth might say. Doctors & Hospitals have been told to say Covid death regardless of real cause of death, such as Gunshot death and are paid $30,000. per person, so they can make lots of money on death. Govenors are guilty of murder, when they put healthy seniors in close proximity to known infected people, and then die; even though there were hospitals available to place them in that had no Covid. AGENDA!
@@mary2270515 Woman yells "Grape, Grape, Grape". Guy comes to help her and asks "Don't you mean rape?". She says "No there were a bunch of them." I'll see myself out.
Hi Doc! I watched your video on kids and covid and just wanted to tell u I have a family member, boy age 6, on chemo for leukemia, who tested positive for virus. He had 0 complications and 0 symptoms!! Very encouraging!!
Thank you Doctor for your very informative videos.. I am an RN , but semi-retired now after 30 years.. I have learned alot from your videos.. Please keep giving us information on this dreaded disease? Stay safe 🙏🙏🙏
This disease is weird because if you have it you only come back with positive early in the disease it also interferes with your heart beat its a terrifying disease and when your child has it its even more terrifying because of the unknown journey of this
Hi! First, thank you for being an MD and fighting on the front lines. Secondly, thank you for making these great videos in your free time. I have a pressing question: I keep reading about cases of under-50's with no pre-existing conditions who don't die but develop terrible, chronic symptoms -- like covid lung, blood clots, neurologic and even psychological issues. Can you give us any idea of the prevlance of this phenomenon? I don't know if it's something I should be worried about, or if these are very rare cases which the media seizes upon for obvious reasons. Anyway, thank you and G-d bless you, wishing you safety and success in your work.
