These are my TOP 10 recommended things to do in KUTA LOMBOK...
I have been living in Lombok for 10 years. Kuta, Lombok is my home, and it is one of - if not THE - most beautiful places we have ever been; here I will tell you why, and let you in on my top 10 recommended things to do while staying here.
Lombok is the island to the East of Bali, but actually the two are very different islands, they have different languages and religions, as well as different traditions. Kuta is a relaxed beach town but is developing fast, particularly since the new Moto Grand Prix track has been built. Kuta has so many amazing things to see and do, as well as having the nicest, friendliest locals. I would recommend hiring a scooter or a car, to give you more freedom to explore the island. Kuta Lombok is great to visit all year round. Rainy season is from about Nov- Feb, but it doesn’t rain all day every day, and the rainy season is actually the best time of year for surfing. This blog post is just about KUTA (south) Lombok and not all of Lombok. We will post another blog about the top ten things to do in all of LOMBOK.

Awesome list I have been to Lombok before and been to all the South Lombok beaches you have listed, and did climb up Marese Hill. Kuta in Lombok is definitely so much nicer than Kuta in Bali since I have been to both places. I am planning to go to Lombok again in the near future

Nice Video! Going to climb Mt. Rinjani this year! Researching about places around Kuta to relax. Would those places be easy for us to book grab/gojek?

Ah that's so exciting! You will love it!! Unfortunately no, there's no grab/go jek in Kuta yet, but you can find a local taxi there 😊 or rentals if you'd like.

Thank you for your very informative video. We are heading to Kueter at the end of the month. I have one question I am not confident on a motorbike. Is there the opportunity to hire a car and is this something that is easy to do have a gorgeous day and we look forward to landing in kuala very soon.

A lot of locals in Lombok speak English yes :) especially in busier tourism areas but not all. Local Lombok people mainly speak Sasak (lombok language) and Indonesian.

it’s not paradise. rampant poverty-pollution, frail infrastructure and lack of resources that make life risky, harsh and life expectancy so low in the region. It’s not respectful to the very kind locals to call it a paradise - it’s a real place of harsh struggles

There is no comparison between the North and south of the island. Spent the last month in both areas, and if the snowflakes practise what they preach, this place will retain its beauty. Poverty....really ...I have travelled the world. Visiting and working in some of the biggest hell holes...this is certainly not a poor nation. They are some of most welcoming people I have met. Amazing place, culture and place. Keep it that way.
