Can I ask you a few questions? My husband and I want to move to the area. We had to drop out of college early for reasons. So we don't have our degrees. What are the jobs like and how hard would it be for a young family of 5 there to make it?
We are a family of 5 with no college degrees, and we get by just fine here. Will you both be working, or will one of you be staying home with the kids? Minimum wage in Oregon is $11.25 per hour. Housing prices are around $1-$2k per month. If you can survive as a family of 5 wherever you live now, I assume it would be the same here. :) Good luck with everything!

Housing is a bit competitive in Southern Oregon because a lot of people are moving to the area but no new houses are being built. There are rentals, though! I recommend making a rental resume so you can stand out to potential landlords. It worked for us when we first moved here. You could look on craigslist to get an idea on rental prices.. As for jobs, there are always jobs available. If you aren't picky and are willing to take any job you can get, I'm sure you can find something. Do I think it's possible? family fun center is the stupidest place. it is so effing lame. there are like 5-10 people roaming around... there is nothing to do,it maybe may look cute in the vidoe but in reality it is a complete joke. dont you make it sound like it is something fantastic.
Parks are overrun with methheads. Needles in the bushes, fast food bathroom stalls, drug addicts in every store stealing, dealers on a free for all after the Governor decriminalised drugs...campgrounds are not safe to leave your car at for any length of time, I dare you to let your kids play after dark.....get real.
