Moved to SD from midwest 7 years ago. Best choice I ever made. Don't listen to "costs too much". You either pay for the world inside your front door, or outside your front door. I could buy a nice home in Cleveland for the cost of a small apartment here, but the problem is I wouldn't be here anymore. And here is about as wonderful as life gets in America.

Right on! I couldn’t agree more. San Diego really isn’t that expensive either compared to places like NY, SF LA etc.. So worth it too!

সরপুরিয়ায় পোকা Yep, that’s the downside to every single desirable part of California! All the crappy places like Bakersfield, Fresno, Stockton, and Modesto are the cheap places! My brother-in-law lives in the Claremont section of San Diego and lives in a run down 1,100 square fixer-upper built in the 1950’s he bought for some 350,000 just a couple of years ago and still fixing it up.

@@jondstewart San Diego is very Desirable, but expensive!, but you know what, i think its a good think because if it was cheap than it would of been overcrowded with people and traffic would of been really bad, so things do ballance out.

Its a quaint beautiful city with the most perfect weather conceivable situated right on the pacific coast with small beautiful islands in middle of the ocean right across its downtown with 360 degree view of the blue sky year round and palm tress peppering its landscape. It gives you the perfect blend of the city /urban and sprawling suburban lifestyle with its waterside parks,museums, restaurants,clubs, lounges, diners, seaworld, theme parks, as well its gorgeous houses dotting the pacific coast as well as inland. But what makes it S.D. truly gr8 is the awesome warm and cool people that inhabit it. I fell in love with this place from the very first moment and i have been to every major city in the states and its hard to admit for a new yorker but San Deigo is probably the best city in America!!!!!

AMaeTV Your video was fun to watch until you mentioned the US navy garbage. Keep in mind that No body gives a crap about the military or wars anymore because they are both unpopular. Also do your research about the so called Israeli art students during 9/11 and the uss liberty attack by the Israeli Air Force and you will find out why our government and wars are not popular.

You have very good food in LA too. Some excellent ethnic foods. But it may be a bit expensive in some parts especially on the west side. But it's not like you can't find great food of any kind you want there. You certainly can. I actually love LA a lot. A lot of San Diego people don't. But I've always had amazing fun there when I go there and for conferences and business too. It's just the traffic and smog and crime in certain neighborhoods. I suppose if you love close to work and don't have a long commute it would be pretty nice. I don't see how it's bad other than the traffic and the commute which is indeed really bad for most people in LA. But it's certainly a fun, interesting, exciting city with a lot to see, do and experience. Throw in some great ethnic foods all over the place. It's far from bad I would say. It's just expensive, crowded and has lots of bad traffic. Those are the main problems I suppose. Depending on where you live, where you work, and how much money you have that may or may not be a problem.

Good place to visit 40th floor of the Hyatt, Del mar having rolled tacos, downtown near India street where all the older house are.... I’ve also been to lake Murray which I really enjoyed. Also kayaking in PB. I love the city and visit a lot have family there.

If you could dream up the perfect city, It has to be San Diego. I used to stay in O.B. during the summer in the 80's. Moved back east for 30 years but moved back to Cali 7 years ago. Now my Wife and I frequent SD as much as possible. Spent our last 2 anniversaries there on Shelter Island..

I just came back from San Diego this morning, her list is THE BEST, when I asked the locals about things to do in the city they were those she mentioned. One thing I would add, after you visit the USS Midway, I had seafood at The Fish Market which is outside the USS Midway to the right right by the Navy statue, the swordfish was my favorite meals. They have scooters everywhere, download the apps (Lyft, Uber, Lime-s, ...) and ride!

Nice video. Stationed in SD for 22 years, and I love that place. But it's gotten too busy for my taste. So much to do though. People also ought to check out the flower fields in spring and summer. Amazing photo opportunities. The little beach communities are underrated too. My wife and I used to go take a long weekend in little places like Doheny or Cardiff or Carlsbad, and you can completely forget you're near a major city. And if you like to dive or fish, La Jolla cove never disappoints, especially if you enjoy lobster or abalone. This video might warrant a sequel??? well done!

i am a london lad born in london. i have been to san diego. it blow me away. the city looks so much nicer. the people and so much nicer. its way less crowded and getting around san diego is a piece of cake. for me mission beach is 1 of the best beaches you could walk along. san diego is alot better than london i think.

Liberty Station is also really fun. Lots of places to walk, eat, and shop. They also usually have live entertainment depending on when you come.

La jolla is also huge. The "crowdedness" doent even bother you unless you like your beach to be completely empty. PB is the one that gets really crowded

Thanks Ivan! I currently still work as the Marketing Manager at SecureNinja, however SNTV has had a bit of a lull due to my pregnancy and less traveling to trade shows. I’m sure we’ll make some more episodes before long though. Thanks for watching!
