I thought I had to dislike the video because when it came to the elephant part I expected to hear about how riding elephants is cool and awesome and not giving shit about them being tortured but it was the opposite. I'm really glad you brought awareness to the abusing and torturing stuff :) I guess I could say that peace is restored in humanity :D
I live in Thailand there is a elephant park 200 metres from my villa..I visit2/3times a week as do most of the local people with food,not because there starving or being tortured,because we love our elephants.the tourist rides are essential,without them the elephants would not exist in Thailand.
I went to Thailand when I was very little. Overall it is a wonderful experience and probably one of the best trips I ever had. However to this day I still vividly remember the way elephants were treated and I feel guilty riding an elephant. In order to make elephants obedient, the owner of the elephant was using some kind of fist weapons to punish the elephant when it stopped moving or trying to move towards wrong directions. Elephants might be a little bit more thick-skinned than us, but I certainly do not wish to endure this kind of abusing so elephants should not be treated like that either. Other than that, Thailand is a great place to travel to and apparently there are many places I missed when I went as a kid. Great video!
I've been to Thailand three times, and after all the stories I think I've done almost everything except the ping pong show. I think you guys should check out the two day tour from Greenleaf Guesthouse at Khao Yai National Park. That is one of my most memorable Thailand memories.

+Cameron Charles Knowles Some camp in Chiang mai have natural elephant camp. Elephant were breed and raised with human from small to adult hood, which make them easily to controll, but only for riding purpose, not show.
I never wanted to drink a soda ever again after the ping pong show. Saw a lady shoot a blow dart gun at balloons and blow out a birthday cake with her snatch... Definitely scared for life.
when I go to the temple, there is this old lady who always gives me free toys because I've gone to my temple ever since I was young, I'm really glad I'm going to thailand
Better list: Full moon party (obviously) Jungle party Tiger temple morning program rent scooters with mates (not in a big city or you will die :D ) go to RCA on a Friday/Saturday night (if you think Kho san road is good for clubbing you know NOTHING Visit a REAL fishing village and buy seafood from the locals (best seafood you will ever eat for the price) Visit Nana or Soi coyboy or Pattaya Anthem Wake park Phuket (wakeboard in a JUNGLE) Go play with Elephants and monkeys etc in a wildlife park Buy a shit load of huge fireworks from a fireworks shop and set them off Diving is actually average in tourist spots Thailand compared to other places in the world, white water rafting is average in thailand, dont rent a jet ski, Khao san road is crap, think Kuta Bali, etc etc do your research
Did one of you inherit a dead family members vast fortune or what? I want to travel the world so bad, but first I would want to have friends who would also drop everything to travel the world and second I would need a ton of money even if I did transportation and lodging on the cheap.

was going too dislike due too elephants also, glad you guys got informed. please don't support(spend cash) anyplace other than the sanctuaries that house the saved elephants.
We play songkran everyplace and every year but we play 13,14,15 April .(It is the season) But now it is 18 April in Thailand now and I have play it with my family So much fun!
